Online commenters are in stitches over a resurfaced interview clip in which actor Jamie Lee Curtis drags her former Scream Queens co-star, Lea Michele.

The clip was posted to Twitter last week by Danny Pellegrino, who wrote: "JLC was savage for this." It has amassed over 1.2 million views and hundreds of comments from tickled viewers who said Michele deserved the "reality check." See the post here.

Michele vs. Social Media

Of course, Michele is no stranger to online critique. After it was announced that she would be replacing Beanie Feldstein as Fanny Brice in Broadway's Funny Girl revival this fall, Sammie Ware, her former Glee co-star, put Michele on blast.

"Yes, I'm online today. Yes, I see y'all. Yes, I care. Yes, I'm affected. Yes, I'm human. Yes, I'm Black. Yes, I was abused. Yes, my dreams were tainted. Yes, Broadway upholds whiteness. Yes, Hollywood does the same. Yes, silence is complicity. Yes, I'm loud. Yes, I'd do it again," Ware tweeted on July 11.

In 2020, Ware accused Michele of "traumatic microaggressions" while on the set of Glee, saying Michele made the show a "living hell." Other cast members immediately took to Twitter to share similar stories about Michele's behavior, prompting the Broadway actress to issue a public apology.

"Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused," Michele said in a 2020 Instagram post.

Last week, online commenters took yet another jab at Michele after her interview with Curtis resurfaced.

'Good Friend'

The interview took place in October 2021 on Curtis's podcast, Good Friend. Michele and actor Jonathan Groff joined Curtis to talk about their time working together in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Spring Awakening.

The now-viral clip was taken from a segment in which Michele and Groff tell Curtis about a fight they had following Groff's Tony Award nomination for best lead actor in a musical in 2007. Michele, the show's leading actress, did not receive a nomination.

"And was the show nominated, also?" Curtis asked the actors.

Michele told Curtis that the show won eight Tony Awards, to which Curtis responded: "Yes, you did. But you didn't, Lea."

Groff bursts into a fit of laughter as Michele says, "Nope."

Twitter Reacts

Commenters loved the clip, and many applauded Curtis for her "savage" comment.

"Look I like theater as much as the next ho but sometimes we gotta reality check our peers," @protein_jesus wrote.

"A year is added to my life anytime someone humbles Lea Michele," @TristanCirca89 said.

"She was, is, and will ALWAYS be savage. Thank you @jamieleecurtis for being a bada** and humbling @leamicheleweb, because she lives in [a] fantasy world where she reigns supreme," @matteoferocio tweeted.

@moftherosa said: "This is SENDING ME."

Meanwhile, @MikeShan79 added: "The savagery lol."
