Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer delighted Friends fans with a cute interaction on Instagram.

Schwimmer hilariously paid homage to his former co-star after she posted a racy shower snap.

The Rachel Green actress posed under a running shower with her back to the camera with her hair was lathered up with shampoo.

Aniston was teasing new products from her Lolavie hair care range, telling fans "Something's coming 9.8.22."

Her co-star took the chance to poke fun at her by posing in the shower, his face screwed up and covered in soapy suds.

In response to her caption, David wrote: "@JenniferAniston – a towel I hope??".

The Hollywood A-lister loved the response and was one of the first to comment and jokingly accused him of trying to steal her limelight.

""Schwim!? Trying to steal my thunder!?" she wrote.

Their fans loved the hilarious exchange saying they "live for these interactions."

"Youuu guys!!!!! My heart ?❤️," added another fan.

Schwimmer played Ross Geller opposite Aniston on the wildly popular 1990s sitcom.

Their characters had an on-again, off-again romantic relationship before finally getting together by the show's finale.

Fans have begged the megastars to become a couple in real life, with the pair admitting they once had feelings for each other.

During last year's, Friends: The Reunion, Aniston and Schwimmer admitted they never acted on their romantic feelings because they were in relationships at the time.

"The first season I had a major crush on Jen," Schwimmer said. "And I think we both, at some point, were crushing hard on each other but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that."

Aniston agreed and then revealed their first kiss happened onscreen during Season 2 episode "The One Where Ross Finds Out."

She said: "I remember saying at one point to David, 'It's going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is gonna be on national television!'

"Sure enough, the first time we kissed was in that coffee shop. So we just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel."

The pair became household names alongside Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry after the NBC sitcom quickly became a big hit.

Friends, which aired from 1994 to 2004 remains among the 30 most-watched television shows of all time, according to IMDb.

It streamed on Netflix in 2014 for five years before HBO Max bought the licensing rights.

The show debuted on HBO Max in 2020 and immediately became the streaming service's most-watched show.

Despite slipping down in the rankings since other shows such as Euphoria and Succession premiered, Friends is still in the top-15 most-streamed shows on HBO Max.
