Jennifer Lopez revealed she and husband Ben Affleck suffered from a "stomach bug" during their Georgia wedding.
The couple—who got married on July 16 in Las Vegas—exchanged vows again at the Deep Water actor's estate on August 20, alongside their family and friends.
The "On the Floor" singer, 53, wore three custom Ralph Lauren dresses during their second nuptials and accessorized her looks with over $2 million worth of jewelry. As for Affleck, 50, he too wore head-to-toe Ralph Lauren, opting for a cream-colored jacket with a white shirt, black pants and a bow tie.
Lopez reflected on several hiccups that took place on their special day in the September 1 edition of her "On The JLo" newsletter.

"It had rained at sunset every day that week. Everyone was worried about the heat, the aptly named 'love bugs,' the details, would the guests all arrive on time, etc.—not to mention the thunder and lightning that arrived almost on cue each day at the exact time the ceremony was supposed to start that Saturday," the New York native wrote.
"Oh, and all of us caught a stomach bug and were recuperating 'til late in the week, that, and along with a few other unexpected setbacks, had all the makings of a doozie of a wedding weekend."
That being said, the pop star revealed that everything worked out in the end.
"At six forty-five, Saturday, August twentieth, the sun broke free and cast its rays like little diamonds dancing across the river behind the makeshift altar in our backyard," she continued.
"The sky was clear blue, and distant clouds of pure white held fast in the sky. As the sun set behind the live oaks draped in Spanish moss, a warm breeze swept over the lawn where our closest family and friends sat and, at long-last, I started my walk down the stairs that would become the aisle that would lead me toward the rest of my life."
Newsweek reached out to Lopez and Affleck for additional comment.
The A-listers met on the set of their movie Gigli in December 2001. By November 2002, the pair were engaged. However, they never made it down the aisle, calling off their engagement in January 2004.
Fast forward to 2021, and Affleck hinted at the reason for their breakup during an appearance on The Hollywood Reporter's "Awards Chatter" podcast.
"People were so f***ing mean about her—sexist, racist. Ugly, vicious s*** was written about her in ways that if you wrote it now, you would literally be fired for saying those things," he said in January of that year, prior to getting back together. "Now it's like, she's lionized and respected for the work she did, where she came from, what she accomplished—as well she f***ing should be!"
Lopez further elaborated on their uncoupling during an interview with Rolling Stone in March 2022.
The "Love Don't Cost a Thing" artist said that while their romance was "one of the happiest times of my life," they "were being criticized."
"It really destroyed our relationship from the inside out," she told the outlet, noting they were "too young to understand at that time what were really the most important things in life."
"It was brutal," she added.
Previous Marriages
Lopez has been married several times before, first to Ojani Noa from 1997-1998. She later wed Cris Judd from 2001-2003 and Marc Anthony from 2004-2014. The Hustlers actress and Anthony, 53, welcomed twins Emme and Max in February 2008.
In 2019, the mom of two got engaged to former Major League Baseball star Alex Rodriguez, and after postponing their big day twice due to the coronavirus pandemic, they called it quits in April 2021.
Affleck was also previously married. He and ex-wife Jennifer Garner started dating in 2004 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They share three children—daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10.
