Jeremy Renner has admitted to having had hard days since a horrific snowplow accident at his northern Nevada home.
The Context
Renner underwent life-saving surgery after being rushed to hospital on New Year's Day in 2023 when he was involved in an accident while plowing snow at his Lake Tahoe home.
What We Know
The Marvel Cinematic Universe actor has kept fans updated about his recovery with the latest post showing him working out, even though it was a challenging effort.
"My day off ... I'm not always excited nor motivated, but I tend to push harder those days. Progress requires progressions," Renner posted to X, formerly Twitter.
The video in the post showed him doing bicep curls and taking a short break to catch his breath, then continuing on, despite the strain.

Renner's fans heaped encouragement on the Mayor of Kingstown star in the replies.
"You look pretty amazing for almost dying. Amazing work!" wrote one person.
Another added: "Looking good! Keep going!"
And a third commented: "You're putting us all to shame ? I had better get my ass back in the gym! Looking great out there. Have an amazing week."
What's Next?
Renner has made a stoic return to the public eye, including attending the premiere of his Disney+ reality series, Rennervations, just months after his accident.
He walked the red carpet with a cane and was all smiles for the cameras.
More recently, he spoke about making a defiant return to the MCU as Clint Barton/Hawkeye.
"I'm always game. I'm gonna be strong enough, that's for sure. I'll be ready," Renner told Entertainment Tonight in February.
"All those guys come to my bedside and they've been with me all along through this recovery, so... if they want me, they could have me. It would be something."
The actor also described how "health and wellness" will be his top priority in life moving forward.

"(I'm doing) probably 90 per cent of all the things I needed to be doing... I think another six months will be hopefully running (more)... I got to set goals for myself. I'll do whatever I can... whatever it takes to get better, to get stronger," Renner said.
"It's a one-way street, this recovery. The rest of my life is about health and wellness. Recovery will be part of the rest of my life, so I look forward to it, man. There's always something to do to get better, be stronger, be happier, be healthier, and that's what I look forward to."
He also opened up on the mental struggles that come after a near-fatal accident.
"I was never afraid, mind you, of death prior. Now, I'm really not afraid of it. Now, I'm double downing. Yes, certainly not afraid of it," he said on the SiriusXM radio show This Life of Mine with James Corden in February.
"Now, I'm kind of excited for it. To be honest, it's what life really is.
"This rock that we're spinning on and this body and this language that we're speaking and all these feelings and emotions and conflict is all... meaningless in the scheme of things."
