John Rich has once again shared his opinions on social media, this time taking aim at U.S. Senate hopeful Ruben Gallego.
The country singer lashed out at the Democratic candidate in Arizona's U.S. Senate race after Gallego posted a callout for support to help him fundraise and raise his fortunes in the polls.
Gallego shared an image of him trailing behind his Republican opponent Kari Lake by six points.

"Not the news I was hoping to share but polling has us down 6 points to MAGA-extremist Kari Lake. And the truth is, we're pacing behind on our fundraising goals. I can't do it alone but if lots of people like you chip in, we will have a real shot at taking the lead and WINNING," Gallego shared on X, formerly Twitter.
Rich clapped back at Gallego writing, "@KariLake is gonna beat you like a borrowed mule🤣."
The Arizona senate race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive this election year and could tip the balance on whether Democrats or Republicans control the chamber.
Lake previously ran in the 2022 gubernatorial election in Arizona, narrowly losing to Democrat Katie Hobbs. She is known for her strong conservative views and for siding with Donald Trump over his belief the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.
She made headlines this week after she threw her support behind Texas Governor Greg Abbott's efforts to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and claimed Arizona was at risk of being overwhelmed by illegal migrants as a result of interference to his attempts.
Abbott sent Texas National Guard soldiers to the border with Mexico, to install razor wire across key crossing points. But on January 22, the Supreme Court ruled federal agents could remove this wire, which Abbott said would lead to an "invasion" of Texas by people trying to cross into the U.S.
Lake told Newsweek that had she been elected Arizona's governor, she would have mimicked Abbott's policies to stop people from crossing over from Mexico.
"The moment I took my hand off the Bible after taking the oath of office, more than a year ago, we would have started completing the wall, building the wall, stopping people coming over," she said. "There would not be people pouring across our border. Our border would not look like a refugee encampment."
Rich is not shy about sharing his conservative viewpoints on X and even targeted Taylor Swift recently.
He went after the pop star for not having posted a tribute to country legend Toby Keith following his death on February 5 from cancer.
"When is@taylorswift13 going to share some words about Toby Keith? The man who discovered her, got her the 1st record deal? Taylor, where are you today? #TobyKeith," the singer wrote on February 8.
Keith signed a teenage Swift to his record label in 2005 and is widely credited with helping to kickstart her career. Newsweek reached out to Swift's team for comment at the time of Rich's statement but did not receive a response.
