Kanye West Video Raises Questions

In a video posted to Instagram Kanye West defended himself for uploading pictures of his wife Bianca Censori—but people have been distracted by a growth on his upper lip.

The 46-year-old rapper, who now goes by Ye, spent $850,000 on titanium teeth in January. Now he's alarmed followers who have noticed a lump on his top lip in the weeks after the experimental dental surgery.

In the clip uploaded on Monday, Ye and 29-year-old Censori are seen walking through an airport. Ye was responding to backlash that he was posting too much of her on his social media during the Super Bowl. He said in response: "Don't ever say nothing negative—if you don't like my page, and don't like what I'm posting, go f*** yourself, seriously. Leave me, leave the king the f*** alone. I don't care bro, I'm gonna post my wife as much as I want. Go post your wife on your f****** Instagram."

Alongside the clip, he wrote in the caption: "Ima [sic] post my wife as much as I want bro It makes me happy Some people don't want you to be happy They want you to make them happy I decided to make myself happy and I'm happy with that."

While Ye might have wanted people to focus on what he was saying in the video, many couldn't look past his top lip.

Newsweek contacted a representative for Ye via email for comment Tuesday.

"What's up with his lip?" one person questioned.

"What happened to your face? Clone Kanye comin in hot," said another.

A third person added: "WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YE LIP."

Others put forward suggestions as to what could be the cause of the growth.

"That darn grill causin allergic reaction," one Instagram commenter said.

"Probably a cold sore. If I had to guess," someone else wrote.

"It's definitely scar tissue from an injury," a third person theorized.

Though some fans are only now noticing the lump, Ye appears to have had it for a while, if not forever, as it can be seen in the numerous pictures of him taken over the years.

Not everyone was distracted by Ye's lip, as some Instagram users shared their love for the rapper and his relationship with Censori.

"His lisp is so cute man I could never hate on this man," someone wrote.

"How can you not love him," another person commented.

"Were happy you're happy big bro," a different Instagram user said.

In the video, Ye briefly pointed the camera towards Censori, who could be seen wearing a see-through body suit.

"Why is she always naked?" one person questioned.

"I wonder how he would feel if his daughter dressed the way his wife dresses?" someone else queried.

Ye has been in the headlines recently, primarily because of the scantily clad photos he keeps posting of his wife, which some on social media have criticized.

In January, Ye shared a series of photos of Censori on Instagram that showed her wearing only a latex thong, matching string bra and black corset. In another photo, Censori is posed against a wall wearing a black do-rag, string thong and a pink fur bralette. Ye captioned the post: "No pants this year."

Ye and Censori are believed to have secretly married in December 2022, just two months after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was filed.
