Kate Middleton Blows Her Parents a Kiss at Wimbledon in Sweet Viral Moment

Kate Middleton was spotted alongside Prince William blowing her parents a kiss from the royal box at Wimbledon in a viral video.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge turned out to watch British tennis star Cameron Norrie beat Belgium's David Goffin to land a spot in the semi-finals.

Kate was spotted blowing her parents Carole and Michael Middleton a kiss from the stands as her family turned out in force for a sunny day at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

A popular royal family Twitter account shared the footage and the video has been watched more than 227,000 times.

The BRF account wrote: "The Duchess of Cambridge looking for her parents in the royal box and blowing a kiss to greet them [heart eyes emoji] What a sweet daughter [smiling face with hearts emoji] #Wimbledon2022."

Royal biographer Robert Jobson told Australian news show Sunrise: "She blew that kiss to her mum and dad who had obviously got pretty good seats in the royal box now that she's royal patron."

He added: "I think that whenever they turn up anywhere—and we saw it on the Centre Court—the place was abuzz. It was a buzz anyway with all of the tennis that was being played but the photographers were all scrambling to get their shots and also the crowd were on their feet as they arrived.

"They've got a real presence when they turn up and Kate is a real tennis fan so it's great to have her involved in Wimbledon in this way."

Kate is patron of the Lawn Tennis Association, the sport's governing body in Britain, and a frequent spectator in the stands at Wimbledon.

Prince William and Kate posted on their official Twitter: "What a match! Just brilliant @cam_norrie [clapping hands emoji] ?? #Wimbledon."

They later wrote: "What a day of tennis! [tennis racquet and ball emoji] Fantastic to be back @Wimbledon today and wonderful to see @Cam_Norrie flying the flag in the singles!"

Kate and William's Wimbledon visit came a day after her brother James Middleton and his wife Alizee Thevenet were seen in the stands on July 4.

Norrie became the fourth British man to reach the semi-finals at Wimbledon in the Open era when he beat Goffin, The Independent reported.

He came back from being a set down twice and won on his second match point in the final set after three hours and 28 minutes of sporting drama.

The ninth seed will now go on to play Novak Djokovic, ranked number three in the world, in the last four on Friday, July 8.
