Kelly Clarkson made two fans' dreams come true by helping them get married at one of her live shows.

The "Since You've Been Gone" singer was performing the New Year's Eve show of her Chemistry: An Intimate Evening residency in Las Vegas when she stopped to talk to a gay couple in the audience.

One of them said that they wanted to get married ahead of their 14th anniversary as a couple in January.

"Oh, it is tonight! With me!" Clarkson says to them about the wedding. She then exclaims in surprise when they ask her to be a witness at the ceremony which they could do on the spot because they had brought their officiant along.

As the officiant steps toward Clarkson, she tells him to "say something" and hands him the microphone.

"By the power of Kelly Clarkson's show, Las Vegas, New Year's 2024, I pronounce you both husband and husband," the officiant says.

Clarkson then goes up to the mother of one of the grooms and says to her, "Look what your baby just did."

The special moment was filmed and posted on X, formerly Twitter, where it currently has over 272,000 views.

"When you don't think you can love Kelly anymore then you already Do she is just what the world should be full of people! Oh god that woman! Is just pure," commented one person on the video.

Another said: "An icon in an iconic moment!!!"

And a third wrote: "So GREAT What a super way to remember this special day !! Congrats to all of you !"

Clarkson began her Las Vegas residency in July in support of her 10th studio album Chemistry. She will perform two additional shows in February.

The singer and talk-show host has long been an ally of the LGBTQ+ community including featuring a gay couple in her 2013 music video for "Tie It Up."

She has had many same-sex couples get engaged at her live shows, including Kiana and Amanda Clark who got married in 2018. Clarkson posed for a photo with the happy couple and shared it on her social media.

But when she received negative comments from homophobic trolls, she lashed out at the haters, responding to one user who wrote, "Sorry Kelly.... love your music but I don't dig the d*****...still a sin any way you cut it."

"I almost didn't respond 2 this because hate doesn't deserve a spotlight but u know what, truth does, & the truth is that God is Love, & Love shared between two people should be praised not condemned in my personal opinion. I love u 2 although we see the world/love differently," Clarkson wrote on X in 2018.
