Don't Worry Darling stars KiKi Layne and Ari'el Stachel say their scenes were cut from the film.

The movie, directed by Olivia Wilde, has been plagued by controversy for months. Initially, there were reports that leading lady Florence Pugh didn't support Wilde's relationship with her co-star Harry Styles.

Vulture later reported that a "screaming match" took place between Wilde and Pugh over the romance.

According to an unnamed insider, the pair got into the verbal altercation over Wilde's "frequent, unexplained absences," the source told the outlet. "Olivia and Harry would just disappear."

Neither Pugh nor Wilde have commented on these claims.

Then, Wilde, 38, said she fired Shia LaBeouf over his "combative energy," she told Variety in August. However, the 36-year-old told the publication, "Your actors [and] I couldn't find time to rehearse."

Feud rumors between Wilde and Pugh, 26, continued when the Black Widow actress did not attend the movie's press conference in early September. That said, Variety reported at the time that Pugh arrived after the presser due to filming Dune: Part Two in Budapest.

Tension was fueled yet again when social media users began speculating Styles, 28, spit on Chris Pine at the Venice International Film Festival. A representative for Pine, 42, immediately shut down the rumors, though, calling the story "ridiculous."

During an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Wilde addressed what the host called, "Spit-Gate."

"I think it's a perfect example of, like, people will look for drama anywhere they can," Wilde—said.

Now, Layne, 30, and Stachel, 31, are the latest actors to be brought into the drama.

On Sunday, September 25, Layne took to Instagram to share several photos and a video with Stachel, writing, "The best thing about #DontWorryDarling is that I was lucky enough to meet @arielstachel. They cut us from most of the movie, but we thriving in real life."

She added, "Love you Ari," alongside several red heart emojis and the hashtags, "#GotMyCheck #GotMyMan #EverythingHappensforaReason."

Meanwhile, Stachel posted via is own Instagram and TikTok. The 2018 Tony Award winner, who won featured actor in a musical for his role in The Band's Visit, claimed he too was cut.

In the video, Stachel danced to Snoop Dogg's "Sensual Seduction" while a tweet appeared on the screen behind him.

"I can overlook a movie being bad, but I cannot overlook a movie being bad and making Ari'el Stachel a glorified extra," the tweet read. "The man has a Tony!!!!! Give him more than two lines Olivia Wilde!!!!"

"When you end up on the cutting room floor," he wrote over the clip. "Go see Don't Worry Darling."

Newsweek reached out to Wilde's representative for comment.
