Kim Kardashian's family day out at the football didn't go to plan as she was seemingly booed by fans inside the SoFi Stadium in California.

She was watching the Los Angeles Rams host the Dallas Cowboys in Inglewood, Los Angeles on Sunday in Week 5 of the NFL season. Clips of Kardashian being booed at the stadium have started to circulate online, with people reacting to the event on social media.

One of the first to share footage from the incident along with her own account of what happened was sports journalist Natasha Dye. She suggested that John Legend received a neutral response from the crowd, as did non-famous fans like "Steve" who also appeared on the Jumbotron.

However, the reception for Kardashian appeared more hostile and the boos started to build throughout the 10 seconds that she appeared on the giant screen. In a separate tweet, Dye added: "All she did was wave. The booing was bad vibes [to be honest]."

Journalist Miles Klee was also in the SoFi Stadium and called the booing to be "the most thunderous" he'd ever heard. Sports reporter Lindsey Thiry was more forgiving calling the crowd's reaction to Kardashian's appearance on the screen "a bit mixed."

Actor Stephen Amell (Arrow, Heels) was also there in the stadium and put a positive spin on things for the reality star. "Kim Kardashian was just shown on the big screen and loudly booed at the Rams game. Being booed at a sporting event is a huge compliment. When people who don't know you think they dislike you it means you are super duper famous," Amell wrote on Twitter.

Kardashian shared videos of her day out at the NFL game on her Instagram Stories, but she didn't openly respond to any claims of booing.

The incident at the SoFi Stadium was discussed on Twitter, Reddit and TiKTok. Hundreds of thousands of people viewed videos of TikTok users highlighting the booing, with some of the content creators defending Kardashian.

@Jessthereporter said she was tired of everyone being "little haters" towards Kardashian. Many comments, videos and posts across social media suggested people were tired of the Kim-Kanye drama which is why she got booed.

The Cowboys eventually won the game beating the Rams 22-10.

Kim Kardashian was seen at the game with her children, who've recently been dragged into a public feud with Kanye West after he went off on the family in a series of angry Instagram posts. Khloé Kardashian responded on her sister's behalf, but the latter has yet to publicly address Ye's claims.

Newsweek has reached out to Kardashian's representatives for further comment.
