A landlord allegedly fatally shot his tenant following a heated argument at a get-together in Florida, according to police.
Miami-Dade police raced to an efficiency unit at 925 SW 125th Court after they received reports that a man had been shot in the head at about 10 p.m. on Saturday.
When officers arrived, they found 27-year-old Armando Alvarez's lifeless body in a pool of blood, according to the Miami Herald.
Following an investigation, police learned Alvarez's landlord Samuel Omar Gonzalez, 34, and their girlfriends had a get-together earlier in the day when an argument occurred.

As Alvarez tried to apologize, Gonzalez, who lives in the main unit with his girlfriend, slapped him in front of the guests, reported the Miami Herald citing an affidavit.
Alvarez, his partner and their friends left the pool area and went inside before Gonzalez took a .40 caliber gun and allegedly confronted the tenant.
Gonzalez then allegedly shot Alvarez in the head and fled the area in a white BMW sedan, the outlet reported.
Police later found and stopped the vehicle at NW 93rd Avenue and 25th Street at about 1:38 p.m. Sunday and Gonzalez was arrested without further incident.
Detectives told the Miami Herald that they read Gonzalez his Miranda rights at the station and that he later declined to speak to investigators.
Gonzalez has since been charged with one count of second-degree murder with a weapon and is being held without bail.
Newsweek has contacted the Miami-Dade Police Department for comment.
According to the Gun Violence Archive, a database that collects information about shootings from across the U.S., 85 people in Florida have been fatally shot in July alone.
There have been numerous shootings across the U.S. that have involved landlords and their tenants.
Earlier in 2022, a hatchet-wielding man shot a 77-year-old landlord in the face in Florida, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.
A June 29 press release said Fredie Vale, 47, was charged with attempted first-degree murder after he reportedly swung a hatchet at his landlord and boss before he shot him in the face.
The victim is said to have had a previously good relationship with Vale and had known him for several years.
Officials said: "Vale handed the hatchet to the victim, then suddenly grabbed it back, threatened the victim and began swinging the hatchet, causing the victim to back up and fall.
"The victim told deputies Vale then jumped on top of him and attempted to strike him with the hatchet."
