The leader of the Latinos for Trump political organization says that the former president's recent troubles stem from a lack of religious outreach.

Bianca Gracia is the president of Latinos for Trump, a group founded in the summer of 2019 by conservative activist Marco Gutierrez, to help mobilize Latino voters toward Donald Trump. On Thursday, Gracia appeared on the conservative podcast, The Jeff Dornik Show, which claims to focus on "exposing election fraud, COVID-19 and the danger of the vaccines, our constitutional rights being stripped away, an America First agenda and rooting out the RINOs from the Republican Party."

During the interview, Gracia said that Trump's recent issues stemmed from his recent lack of focus on religion and reaching out to faith leaders. Emphasizing that point, the episode's title was, "Latinos for Trump President Bianca Gracia Believes There May be a Reason God Doesn't Want Trump to be President."

"You're gonna keep getting attacked," Gracia said. "Because if you do not surround yourself with people who are not used to fighting principalities in a spiritual realm, you're gonna get your butt handed to you every single time. And I don't know if [Trump] just doesn't know that."

A clip of her comments from the episode was shared on Twitter by former federal prosecutor and left-leaning activist, Ron Filipkowski, on Saturday. As of Sunday afternoon, the video had been viewed over 157,000 times and the tweet had received over 3,500 likes.

Gracia continued, saying that Trump, amid his recent troubles with the FBI, has not been surrounding himself with evangelical religious leaders and seems to not be praying with his family. Furthermore, she said that the ex-president should be actively reaching out to evangelical leaders and not waiting for them to come to him.

"He needs to be the one to invite them in and say, 'Look...this world has gone chaotic and it's mad,'" she added. "'Obviously I'm doing something wrong. I need my spiritual leaders back in here...We need to figure this out. We need to pray, strategy, I don't know what else to do.'"

Aside from her role with Latinos for Trump, Gracia has also attempted to run for political office, having led a failed campaign for a seat in the Texas state Senate. During the campaign, she praised Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene as "the only one right now that's really fighting back," and dubbed herself "a little mini Marjorie Taylor Greene."

Following her loss, she, like numerous Trump-aligned Republicans, refused to concede and claimed that her election had been stolen from her. She also said that those who did the stealing are "gonna have to deal with God."
