A pet owner has left the internet in stitches after catching her "gangster" parrot "discussing" his escape plan with the cat in a clip that has since gone viral on social media.
In the viral video, shared on TikTok on Saturday by the pets' owner, under the username Sarahrousan, the green parrot, called Rio, is caught secretly hanging out with the house cat, seemingly discussing the details of his escape plan.
About halfway through the "conversation", the cat looks up at the window, where the poster believes her parrot is planning to escape from, while the parrot himself turns around pretending that nothing happened, after noticing his owner filming them.
The hilarious post comes with a caption that says: "Just caught my parrot discussing his escaping through the window with my cat." Followed by: "My Ga[n]gsta Parrot is planning his escape."

According to AZ Animals, parrots are among the smartest animals on earth and routinely exhibit intelligence traits similar to those of primates, dolphins, octopuses and humans, all considered to be among the smartest species.
Some species of parrots are especially clever. A renowned one is the African Grey Parrot, which can live up to 60 years, getting more time to learn compared to other birds. One African Grey Parrot in particular, Alex, will go down in history as one of the smartest parrots ever.
Alex, short for Avian Language Experiment, was the star of an experiment to study animal intelligence. When he died at the age of 31 he was believed to be as intelligent as a five-year-old child, and his owner even believed he hadn't reached his full potential yet.
The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 2.3 million views and 314,000 likes
