Lay's has announced that it is launching a new Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup flavor potato chip next week.

The launch date of October 21 will coincide with the beginning of a Lay's contest to celebrate its new packaging. The packaging and logo will be given a makeover, which will result in Lay's first new look in 12 years.
Jon Guerra, senior director of design at Frito-Lay, the parent company of Lay's, told CNN that with the new design they, "wanted to convey with color photography and a logo refresh that Lay's is a joyful and flavorful brand".

Two hundred people will win in total, with more than 10,000 bags of chips to be won. Five winners will be chosen each day, and entrants can enter once a day. The prize, a year's supply of Lay's, is in the form of 52 coupons for one bag of Lay's up to a value of $4.29.
