Tipton's post comes after pop star Demi Lovato came out as non-binary in May.

The former Disney Channel star took to social media to announce they were officially changing their pronouns to they/them.

Lovato said they were "still learning and coming into myself," adding that the announcement came after "a lot of healing & self-reflective work."

"I'm doing this for those out there that haven't been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones," the singer wrote at the time. "Please keep living in your truths & know I am sending so much love your way xox."
