A woman went viral on TikTok after she was filmed inside an Australian bar wearing lipstick and kissing the backs of men's shirts.
The viral TikTok, captioned, "Lipstick bandit was on the loose at PJ's," has been viewed 53.8 million times and liked 6.7 million times since it was shared on March 18. The woman's actions ignited a debate that she could ruin relationships by making the unsuspecting men appear to be cheating.
A Dating.com survey found that 55 percent of respondents "suspected" they had been cheated on during quarantine for the coronavirus (COVID-19). Almost 45 percent of females said "they'd been cheated on since early March" 2020.
The 30-second video, posted by user @Littlewank, or Sam, played the song, "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys while they were at a P.J. O'Brien pub and restaurant. The video started with the TikToker filming a woman putting on lipstick quickly and kissing the back of a man's shirt. It looked like she had already kissed the back of his shirt a few times previously going by the stains as well.
However, no one seemed to notice as the woman proceeded to kiss the backs of other men's shirts at the bar too. One guy was dancing as the woman kissed his shirt, laughing towards the camera after the fact.
The woman kissed another man's shirt as well in the crowd of people at the bar. Some were repeat offenders of the woman's lipstick smooches. The men appeared to be strangers to the woman as she continued doing the same thing to other unsuspecting men.
She reapplied the makeup before continuing, and her lipstick even became broken at one point. The woman managed to kiss a few more men's shirts before the video cut off though.
The viral moment led to over 70,000 comments with many unimpressed by the woman's actions.
Some think the woman inadvertently affected relationships. "Definitely broke up some relationships tonight," a viewer said.
Another thinks the men did "nothing wrong," but they are going to "go home and get yelled at."
Others straight-up did not approve of the woman's actions. "Me sitting here trying to figure out how you thought this was OK," a TikToker chimed in.
The stains on the shirts were also brought up. "Staining clothes and causing arguments for couples just ain't it sis," a viewer expressed.
People imagined what the men who were kissed would say to their partners. "'Babe, I have no idea,' – Every one of these guys," a TikToker figured.

One person brought up the scenario if the roles were reversed. "And if a guy went around kissing girls it wouldn't be a joke," they said.
Others had comments like, "Oh you ending relationships," "This is 100 percent psycho behavior," and "Girl, how is this funny?"
A TikToker admitted that although they find it "hilarious," they "also can't help but feel bad because some of those nice dress shirts can get expensive. Wouldn't be thrilling to find a stain on it."
Newsweek reached out to TikToker @Littlewank for comment but did not hear back in time for publication.
