Love Island U.K. season seven is finally here after more than 18 months of being off-screen. So far, 11 Islanders have entered the Love Island villa in a bid to find the one and also take home the £50,000 prize. As per tradition, the 11 Islanders will be joined by bombshell arrivals along the way and find themselves vulnerable to being dumped at any moment.
Casa Amor will return in 2021, which sees the Islander's loyalty and relationships face the ultimate test as several new boys and girls enter two different villas. Those who do not couple up after Casa Amor, are at serious risk of being dumped from the island.
Four couples will then make it to the Love Island final but only one can be crowned the winner, taking home the cash prize of £50,000.
There is a nail-biting twist regarding the prize money. One partner in the winning couple will decide whether they want to split the money or keep it all to themselves.
In Love Island history, the couples have always chosen to split the prize money but this year could be the year somebody decides to keep it for themselves.
This year, there are 11 'original' Islanders to kick off the summer of love. Newsweek has everything you need to know.
Meet the 'Love Island U.K.' Contestants

Aaron Francis
Aaron Francis, 24, is a model and luxury events host from London.
In the first coupling ceremony, he decided to couple up with Shannon Singh, despite her not stepping forward for him.
Describing himself as "quietly confident," Aaron is looking for someone who is "passionate about what they are doing—from scientist to anything—you can tell when someone is speaking about something and they are actually smiling while they are talking."
Brad McClelland
Brad McClelland, 26, is a laborer from Northumberland, with piercing blue eyes and a thick Northern accent.
Brad, who is just out of an eight-year relationship, is looking for "someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously."
He added: "I could not be with someone that's constantly on your case. I'd say I like dark hair, dark skin, dark eyes."
At the first coupling, Brad chose to couple up with Faye Winter.
Chloe Burrows
Chloe Burrows, 26, is the first bombshell to arrive in Love Island 2021.
She made her entrance at the end of the first episode, where she invited the boys to join her on a date.
After 24 hours, Chloe will recouple with one of the boys, leaving one girl at risk of being dumped from the villa.
Faye Winter
Faye Winter is a 26-year-old lettings manager from Devon.
Faye is looking for someone who is 6 feet tall and won't be afraid to put her in her place.
She shared: "Someone that makes me laugh. But also someone that takes my banter. I'm like a 5-year-old in a playground, if I like you, I will make a mockery of you and laugh and joke. That is my really terrible flirting skills. I need someone who can take that."
Hugo Hammond
Hugo Hammond, 24, is a P.E. teacher from Hampshire.
Describing himself as "funny," a "charmer," and "a gentleman," Hugo is looking to find someone he can be himself around.
Outside of the Love Island villa, Hugo is a huge sportsman and has placed cricket for England PD (physical disability).
He said: "I've been to Bangladesh, Dubai, I've been everywhere to play cricket. I was born with clubfoot. I had lots of operations when I was a kid. You can only really tell when I walk barefoot. I've got a really short Achilles heel. I walk slightly on my tiptoes."
Unfortunately, Hugo was left single at the end of the first coupling, after fellow Islander Toby decided to couple up with Faye, putting Hugo on the subs bench.
Jake Cornish
Jake Cornish is a 24-year-old water engineer from Weston-Super-Mare.
From the get-go, Jake has made clear his attraction to petite blondes and has made no secret of his foot fetish.
Jake made a beeline for someone who is exactly his type in the first coupling ceremony—Liberty Poole.
Kaz Kamwi
Kaz Kamwi is a 26-year-old fashion blogger from Essex.
Describing herself as "fun, dramatic and spontaneous," Kaz is looking for someone who is "driven" and has passion.
She added: "Someone who is not overly charming, but has enough confidence."
Liberty Poole
Liberty Poole, 21, is a waitress and marketing student outside the Love Island villa.
From Birmingham, Liberty is looking for a "tall, alpha male, confident, a cheeky chappy sort of guy."
She added: "Obviously that's always usually combined with player types, which is where I go wrong. So I am trying to change my ways and go for more of a nicer guy that is going to treat me right."
At the moment, Liberty is coupled up with Jake, so we shall see what happens next.

Shannon Singh
Shannon Singh, 22, is the series' only Scottish contestant.
Shannon, a former glamour model has now turned her eye to more commercial modeling and DJ'ing.
Shannon did not step forward for her fellow Islander Aaron, who chose to couple up with her, so their relationship should make for an interesting watch.
Sharon Gaffka
Sharon Gaffka is a 25-year-old civil servant from Oxford.
Prior to making her Love Island debut, Shannon worked as an operations lead for the Department of Transport in Whitehall.
She also worked on Brexit policy and worked with the Department of Health during the coronavirus pandemic.
Outside of the office, Sharon competed in pageants, including winning Miss International UK.
Toby Aromolaran
Toby Aromolaran, 22, is a semi-pro footballer from Essex.
He joined Hugo on the subs bench after Liam entered the villa and decided to couple up with Faye.
