Kanye West might not be the frontrunner in the 2020 U.S. presidential race, but Madame Tussauds wax museum is already prepping for a potential upset win from the rapper. The international wax-figure emporium is apparently constructing his presidential bust—and they haven't even started on Joe Biden's replica yet.
Madame Tussauds confirmed to Newsweek that West's bust is already being worked on in London, while Biden's likeness is on hold for the event he's actually elected president.
"Joe Biden does not have a clay head sculpture at this point but we will create his figure should he be elected as the next president," Madame Tussauds told Newsweek via email.
Why prioritize West over Biden? It all has to do with West's impressive star power. "Madame Tussauds is the World's Greatest Wax Museum delivering the ultimate star-studded experience, Kanye West has achieved an incredible level of fame throughout his career which makes his bid for president particularly interesting for our brand and fan base," the museum said.
Madame Tussauds also confirmed that this isn't the first time they've prepped a presidential bust ahead of an election; the museum completed President Donald Trump's before the 2016 election even took place.
If West doesn't end up winning the 2020 election, then his replica won't ever see the light of day. At the moment, the head is being crafted. Should he actually become the 46th president of the United States, then his wax body will be created, too, and he'll join the other presidential figures in attractions around the country.

"If Kanye's presidential bid is successful, Madame Tussauds will complete his new wax figure and place it in the attraction's White House Press Room," a press release from Madame Tussauds revealed. "Madame Tussauds currently offers an interactive experience with President Donald Trump at its New York City, Washington, D.C. and Orlando attractions."
West recently registered to be on November's ballot in a handful of states, though it also seems he's missed the deadline in several others, like South Carolina.

Regardless, West held his first campaign rally on Sunday in South Carolina. He proposed some out-of-the-box ideas, like giving every woman who has a child $1 million. In addition, West claimed weed should be free, spoke out against abortion and said that Harriet Tubman didn't actually free slaves. That last comment, in particular, drew a ton of backlash online.
In addition to his presidential bid, West is slated to release a new album on Friday. The record, titled DONDA, after his late mother, seems to have a list of religious songs. This isn't shocking, as West's most recent solo album was a gospel record titled Jesus Is King.
DONDA, however, also seems to include anticipated tracks like "New Body," which was expected to feature Nicki Minaj. Apparently, she's been cut from the song though, as Newsweek noted recently.
