Man Shocked to Find Vintage Photos of Piers Morgan Partying With His Mom

A man got quite a shock after looking through his family's old photo albums, and seeing a famous face staring back at him.

Ben, from the U.K. was surprised to apparently find none other than Piers Morgan in vintage snaps, as the now 56-year-old television personality seemingly partied with his mom.

The 21-year-old shared the photographs in a TikTok video, which he captioned: "Looking through family photos when..."

The camera glosses over grainy images before zooming in on what appears to be a fresh-faced Morgan. The TV personality is dressed in a leather jacket, while another shot shows him mid-laugh, and a third pose shows him in a tuxedo with his bow tie undone.

"Piers and mum go way back," Ben captioned the video.

The footage of the retro snaps has amassed more than 250,000 views, as people commented on the former newspaper editor's youthful appearance.

Lara asked: "Why was he kind of hot."

Phoebe admitted: "When I tell you I gasped."

Zxidy commented: "This is like seeing ghosts in old photos."

Although Vw3455 wrote: "Oh no this freaks me out because what if I have pictures like this with someone like that in the future oh no."

Crafty Girly: "I'd cry if I found that photo album."

While Kacey thought: "I thought that was Hugh Grant."

And Bella Babe added: "He looked fun though."

Morgan made a name for himself after being appointed the youngest newspaper editor in Britain in more than 50 years, aged 28 in 1994.

He became a household name in the U.S. when he sat on the judges' panel for Simon Cowell's reality T.V. show, America's Got Talent, in 2006. He stayed for six seasons.

From 2015, he co-hosted British T.V. program Good Morning Britain (GMB) alongside Susanna Reid, a post he held until earlier this year when he abruptly quit.

In recent years Morgan has been known for his outspoken views on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

One particular outburst, in March, saw the co-host state he didn't believe claims made by the Duchess of Sussex during her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The following day he stormed off the set, and Morgan's resignation was announced soon after.

His comments attracted a record number of complaints to the U.K.'s regulatory body, Ofcom, with more than 57,000 people writing in, and it was reported Meghan Markle made a personal complaint. The TV watchdog later announced it was launching an investigation into the show.

TV channel ITV, which hosts GMB, later issued a statement confirming his departure, saying: "Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add."
