One man allegedly made a remark to a teen at a Waffle House about her eating, which led to a dispute that was captured in a now-viral clip.
The video, found here, was posted to TikTok over the weekend by Moebackbaby (@babybackmoe). Already, the post has racked up nearly 700,000 views.
At the beginning of his video, Moebackbaby is engaged in a tense conversation with the man, who is seated at a table behind him with two other adults.
"You told me to get a job?" Moebackbaby asked the man.
Calmly, the man responded: "Yeah, you should get a job."
As the two continue to spar, the man tells Moebackbaby that he is 33-years-old, adding that he "owns" his own business.
"You're 33 talking to an 18-year-old like that?" asked Moebackbaby.
Moebackbaby quickly turns to face his friend and asks her to tell the camera what the man said to her before they'd started filming.
"He told me I took a big bite, or 'too big of a bite,'" she responded.
The video ends shortly after, but the altercation didn't end there.
In a follow-up video, the 33-year-old man can be seen standing in front of the Waffle House's front door in an alleged attempt to block Moebackbaby and his friends from leaving. In another clip, Moebackbaby and his friends are finally let outside the establishment when the man tries to grab Moebackbaby's phone.
"You're slow as h**l, bro," Moebackbaby told the man as he walked into the parking lot.
Of course, this isn't the first altercation to occur at a Waffle House.
Last month, two Waffle House customers in Tennessee were arrested after they allegedly disrupted a police officer's coffee break.
The officer, Wes Martin, told The Advocate and Democrat that he was eating breakfast at the Waffle House location when "two men allegedly began yelling and whistling inside the restaurant," Newsweek previously reported.
When Martin approached the men, he claimed that one smelled like alcohol.
An argument ensued between the men and the officer but finally, both men were arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
In September, a video that shows a customer getting into a physical fight with a Waffle House employee went viral on Twitter with over 3 million views.
Commenters of Moebackbaby's video had mixed opinions about the situation, but some took the TikToker's side.
"Why so many people defending the adult. He is talking smack to a bunch of younger people y'all are wack," said LarbearIII.v2.
"Owns a business but can't mind his own," said one TikToker.
Michael added: "Bro insecure so he has to call out someone."
"He needs to talk to his wife and friend and not bother kids he doesn't know, he must really hate it at home," wrote Derek Wynn.
