Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen know they have a controversial relationship.
After all, Jordan's father Michael is a Hall of Famer and widely considered to be the greatest basketball player of all time after leading the Chicago Bulls to six NBA titles during his dominant run.
Meanwhile, Pippen's ex-husband Scottie is a Hall of Famer as well and was instrumental to each of those titles. Jordan and Pippen played together for 10 seasons (with a 1-year gap for Jordan's sabbatical in baseball's Minor Leagues).
Still, in an appearance on Pablo Torre's Pablo Finds Out show, Larsa Pippen, 49, said that while their relationship "doesn't resonate well" with people "aesthetically," the couple doesn't find it weird.
"There were so many pros, and the cons were our last names and that's literally what it was," Pippen said. "I'm not concerned with my ex or Marcus' dad. We're both adults."

Larsa and Scottie Pippen divorced officially in January 2022. She appeared to make her relationship with Marcus Jordan official in January 2023.
Now, the couple seem to be making wedding plans, and Marcus told Pablo Finds Out that he wants his father to be his best man.
"I was the best man at [my dad's] wedding, and I was the best man at my brother's wedding," the 32-year-old former collegiate athlete said. "Obviously, we'll keep that tradition going, is my thoughts on it."
While Michael Jordan has said previously that he doesn't approve of his son dating Pippen, Marcus believes his father was joking. In either case, Marcus told Torre that his father doesn't pry into his decisions.
"The main thing from my dad was, 'You're a grown ass man[...]You can make your own decisions,' is what he said," Marcus said. "Ultimately, as long as I'm happy, he's happy. He's never intervened in my dating life prior to Larsa, and he's not going to start now."
When Torre asked Jordan how he would respond to people who don't approve of his relationship, Marcus asked if he could swear.
"Absolutely," Torre answered.
"I was just going to say, 'f*** them,'" Jordan said. "That's kind of my mentality, is f*** 'em all. I just feel like we complement each other in so many different ways tha[...]I don't know, I feel like we're living in our truth and anybody that isn't happy about it can p*** off."
Pippen added that she doesn't like talking about her ex or Michael Jordan.
"I feel like our families just want us to be happy," she said.
