Maren Morris posted about "karma" amid her feud with Brittany Aldean. In August, the country singer, 32, slammed Jason Aldean's wife, 34, for her comments on transgender children.

"I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life," the beauty blogger had captioned a makeup tutorial video via Instagram at the time.
In response, Jason Aldean, 45, wrote, "Lmao!! I'm glad they didn't too, 'cause you and I wouldn't have worked out." Others, however, criticized his wife's comments for being transphobic.
"You'd think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging," the singer Cassadee Pope wrote on Twitter later in August, appearing to refer to the North Carolina native and her line of hair extensions. "But instead, here we are, hearing someone compare their 'tomboy phase' to someone wanting to transition. Real nice."
Morris commented on Pope's message, agreeing with the country star, noting it's "so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human." She then added that Brittany Aldean should "sell" her "clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie."
The remark referenced the January 2021 riot at the Capitol following Donald Trump's defeat in the presidential election.
During the Country Music Association Awards (CMAs) on Wednesday, November 9, Morris appeared to take a subtle jab at Brittany Aldean on TikTok.

While "The Middle" artist Morris did not walk the red carpet, she still attended country music's biggest night, wearing a glittering black gown with a plunging neckline and chunky necklace. Her hair was long with loose curls.
"BYOB (bring your own bottle) CMA," Morris captioned a video of herself, holding a bottle of champagne.
In the background, Taylor Swift's 2022 hit "Karma" could be heard, with the lyrics from the clip reading: "Karma's a relaxing thought / Aren't you envious that for you it's not? /
Sweet like honey, karma is a cat."
Other lyrics include: "Addicted to betrayal, but you're relevant / You're terrified to look down / 'Cause if you dare, you'll see the glare / Of everyone you burned just to get there / It's coming back around."
Newsweek reached out to Brittany Aldean for comment.
People clearly caught on to the apparent meaning behind the tune, with one person writing, "Karma is using your voice for good and being inclusive for ALL country music fans!" At the time of publication, the comment garnered more than 1,500 likes.
"Slay those insurrection Barbies, queen," someone else wrote in a message, which racked up a similar amount of likes.
In September, Morris defended her comments in an interview with GLAAD [Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation], noting that she came "from a good place."
"I don't think that you can do this all the time with sunshine and rainbows. I think you need to have the tough conversations so people can understand what's going on," Morris told GLAAD's vice president of communications and talent, Anthony Allen Ramos. "You can save someone's life by having the right information."
The Grammy winner added: "It's not like we're talking about what your favorite color is. We're talking about people's lives... It's really sensitive."
