Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has joined the growing list of conservative figures putting a renewed focus on their Twitter presence amid the changes implemented by Elon Musk.
Greene, the outspoken and controversial Republican who represents Georgia's 14th Congressional District, took to her Truth Social account to encourage her 124,000 followers on the conservative social media platform to follow her on Twitter after her account was reinstated following a 10-month ban.
Her personal account was suspended in January for violating the platform's rules about COVID-19 misinformation at the time.
The Truth Social post included a screenshot of Greene's recent tweet from her official account, in which she also directed people to follow her personal account, promising "MTG unfiltered."
I'm the only Member of Congress the unelected big tech oligarchs permanently banned.

On January 2, 2022, they violated my freedom of speech and ability to campaign & fundraise crying "covid misinformation."
My account is back.
Go follow @mtgreenee for MTG unfiltered ;)
"I'm the only Member of Congress the unelected big tech oligarchs permanently banned," Greene tweeted. "On January 2, 2022, they violated my freedom of speech and ability to campaign & fundraise crying 'covid misinformation.' My account is back. Go follow @mtgreenee for MTG unfiltered."
According to a CNN report, Greene tweeted more frequently from her personal account than from her official account prior to the ban, and had over 465,000 followers there, around 80,000 more than her official account had at the time.
Twitter cited "repeated violations" of its COVID misinformation policies in the decision, with the breaking point reportedly being a graph she shared that presented false statistics about deaths related to the COVID vaccines.
The account had also been temporarily suspended in the past for sharing misinformation about the 2020 election.

Musk, the billionaire known for running companies like Tesla and SpaceX, officially acquired Twitter on October 27 to the tune of $44 billion.
Since then, his leadership of the company has been marked by chaos and uncertainty, with thousands of workers being laid off and controversial changes to the site's systems being considered.
Musk has also notably gone out of his way to curry favor with conservatives, engaging directly with some figures and unbanning several prominent accounts, including the likes of Project Veritas and rapper Kanye West.
On Saturday, the site reinstated the account of former President Donald Trump, who was suspended in the wake of the January 6 Capitol riots out of concerns that he would use the platform to stoke more violence.
Since then, Trump funded the launch of Truth Social as an alternative to Twitter, which he has used in much the same way as he used Twitter. As of Monday evening, however, Trump has not posted anything to his Twitter account.
Newsweek reached out to Greene's office for comment.
