Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has denied that one of her aides shouted at Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) about wearing a face mask.
Greene took to Twitter on Friday to deny Swalwell's claim in the latest clash between her and a Democratic member of the House.
One of Greene's aides allegedly got into a verbal altercation with Swalwell, who claimed the aide "yelled at me to take my mask off" as he left the House floor.
Greene retweeted a report on the incident from MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes and disputed Swalwell's account.
"I was a witness & @EricSwalwell is lying," Green wrote.
"No one yelled. He thinks he's in some elite class where no one can share the good news that Dictator Biden said we don't have wear masks! I do agree w Eric, though. No one should be bullied: for refusing to wear a mask or get a vaccine."
Greene previously said that Swalwell "lost control" in front of her and "verbally assaulted" her aide.
The incident involving Greene's aide was reported on Twitter by Scott Wong, senior staff writer at The Hill. Swalwell retweeted Wong and gave his account of what happened.

"I had a mask on as I stepped off the Floor. An aide with @mtgreenee yelled at me to take my mask off," Swalwell said. "No one should be bullied for wearing a mask. So I told the bully what I thought of his order. Predictably, he went speechless. I regret I wasn't more explicit."
The CDC recently issued new guidance saying that fully vaccinated people didn't need to wear facemasks in most indoor and outdoor settings. However, rules on mask-wearing remain in place in the House of Representatives for now. Several states have also kept mask mandates in effect while they review the guidance.
Newsweek has asked Swalwell and Greene's offices for further comment.
This incident between Swalwell and Greene's member of staff comes following a clash between Greene and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Greene attempted to confront Ocasio-Cortez just off the House floor and demanded a debate. She repeatedly shouted "Hey Alexandria" and asked her why she supported "terrorists and Antifa," according to a Washington Post report.
The pair have since exchanged barbs over social media.
Ocasio-Cortez later said she believed Greene was "deeply unwell" and "clearly needs some help."
"It's at this point, I think, the depth of that unwellness has raised concerns for other members, as well," Ocasio-Cortez told the press on Friday. "I'm concerned about her perceptions of reality."
