The United States is slowly but surely starting to reopen as coronavirus cases continue to drop in some places across the country, but for the couples of Lifetime's Married at First Sight: Couple's Cam, they're still in the thick of stay-home orders in light of the pandemic. And all the sheltering-in-place is starting to cause some of the cast members to crack.

Anthony D'Amico and his wife Ashley Petta have been braving the lockdown with their daughter in Chicago, but all the rules and regulations of quarantine are beginning to take a toll on Ashely. And there's one thing, in particular, she just can't continue to deal with: looking at her husband's shaggy hair.

With their hometown under shelter-in-place regulations, Anthony's personal grooming has gone out the window—or at least, according to his wife's standards—and on the upcoming episode of the Lifetime reality series, Ashley decides to take measures into her own hands by purchasing a pair of shears so she can give her husband the haircut she thinks he desperately needs.

In Newsweek's exclusive episode five sneak peek (above), Ashley, at first, offers to give Anthony a quarantine cut, noting that other husbands must be allowing their wives to give them haircuts because the special scissors were incredibly hard to find. But Anthony isn't having it.

"I don't know why Ashley's so obsessed with cutting my hair. It's, like, been her lifelong mission or something," Anthony says in a personal-cam video. "I don't get it. My hair's fine. It looks great. It's a little dirty, but I don't think I want her to do it."

Ashley isn't giving up though, and later in the clip, she presents him with a "gift."

"Ooh! Father's Day? It's a little early for that," Anthony says.

He giddily accepts the small box only to discover a pair of shears resting inside.

"It's scissors so I can cut your hair," Ashley says. "These took forever to get, let me tell you. So everybody—everybody—must be letting their wives cut their hair."

Anthony doesn't seem so convinced and proceeds to run and hide from his wife in the bathroom. He plays it off as if he's taking a bath, but Ashley, knowing her husband all too well, doesn't believe him one bit.

"You don't take baths!" she yells from outside the bathroom door.

He responds: "You don't cut hair!"

The odds of Anthony surviving the quarantine without having to get one of his wife's homemade haircut seem slim.

Married at First Sight: Couple's Cam airs on Lifetime on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
