Mindy Shiben can't shake the feelings of failure surrounding her union with Zach Justice on Married at First Sight. In the upcoming Season 10 episode, the newlywed will begin to contemplate whether or not participating in the romantic social experiment was really worth it.
It seemed as though Mindy and Zach were headed in the right direction after Zach spent some time hanging out with Mindy at the apartment last week. But in a Newsweek exclusive sneak peek (above) for episode 10, which airs on Wednesday, Mindy second-guesses the progress she thought the couple was making after she wakes up in the apartment, once again, alone.

"I'm feeling confused this morning. Last night Zach and I hung out. We were having such a great time. Everything was natural. I thought he was finally going to stay the night. But midnight came and off he went like Cinderella," Mindy confesses in a testimonial.
The couple had enjoyed a fun-filled evening of face-masks and card games before Zach abruptly brought the night to an end by leaving. Although Mindy didn't make a fuss about his decision to go to his own place, she said she couldn't help but to be saddened by the fact that Zach doesn't want to stay the night with her.
"I didn't want to ruin a good night but I was a little disappointed that my own husband doesn't want to stay over in what's supposed to be our home," Mindy said, adding that his unwillingness to fully commit to the experiment was causing her to have doubts about the entire process.
"This morning I'm starting to wonder, if my parents were right and if this whole thing was just a bad idea," she added.
Since the beginning of the season, Mindy hasn't held her tongue about Zach making her feel unwanted. His reluctance to move into the apartment the MAFS experts chose for them—let alone the fact he can't even stay for one single night—certainly doesn't seem to ease her fears of doom that could be awaiting their marriage at the end of the experiment.
The Season 10 couples only have a few more weeks to go before they meet with the experts one final time and decide whether they'll remain married or get a divorce, and from the looks of Mindy and Zach's relationship so far, the latter seems more likely.
Married at First Sight airs on Lifetime on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
