Meka Jones and Michael Watson's honeymoon got off to a not-so-sweet start on the last episode of Married at First Sight. The tension brewing between the newlyweds is only going to escalate on the upcoming Season 10 episode of the Lifetime reality series.

In an exclusive sneak peek of episode 5, Meka awakens from the first night of her honeymoon still reeling from Michael's ultimatum. "This is definitely not how I expected the first day of my honeymoon to go," she said.

"I did not do this process to sleep alone or to fight with my husband. I feel sad," she continued. "It makes me feel like a failure. I came into this thinking that I would find my soulmate, my forever person."

Their argument erupted after the couple landed in Panama for their honeymoon and Meka revealed to show producers Michael gave her an ultimatum during their off-camera plane ride: Either be intimate with him during their honeymoon or their marriage wouldn't last.

The demand was a major shock for Meka considering Michael initially told her he was willing to wait to have sex until she was ready and that he would not pressure her to take their relationship to the next level.

When she wakes up alone in her honeymoon suite on episode 5, she'll begin to contemplate whether their marriage can survive after their blowout.

"I'm just in disbelief really because it dawned on me that this marriage might really end in a divorce, and I risked everything for this marriage so if that happens I will be devastated," she said.

Meanwhile, in his own hotel room Michael is also feeling hurt by the way their relationship is turning out.

"It's disappointing," he said. "I didn't necessarily picture this being the outcome of my honeymoon. In the typical situation you know this person, so you know those best practices—those ways to kind of keep the peace—but this one is fast and furious. It's happening all at once."

While it was the ultimatum sparked their argument, one of Meka's biggest issue with Michael is that he appears to be so patient and sweet towards her when the cameras are rolling but behaves in a completely opposite way when show filming is done. However, Michael believes Meka simply doesn't accept the way he best expresses himself.

"My wife doesn't feel like she can trust me, and for me, the hard part has been trying to genuinely be honest and express how I feel. And to feel like it's not being received because how I express myself doesn't necessarily match up with her's," he said in the clip. "So I feel unheard and it makes it uncomfortable to want to share out and be vulnerable in a space where you literally have to do that."

Married at First Sight airs on Lifetime Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers can live stream the episode on Lifetime's website, although a cable provider login is needed to access the stream.
