Another round of strangers are set to take the big walk down the aisle and exchange "I dos" on a new season of Married at First Sight. The Lifetime reality show announced Season 11 was on the way on Wednesday, featuring couples from the Louisiana capital and Mardi Gras hot spot New Orleans.

Season 11 will include five couples from the Big Easy who will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day. Like previous seasons, Married at First Sight (MAFS) cameras will follow each of them on their newlywed journey as they get to know each other as husband and wife and as individuals who were complete strangers prior to tying the knot. Viewers will watch them on their honeymoon and through their early nesting phase before they determine whether or not to remain in their marriage or call it quits during the season finale's decision day.

Of course, Viviana Coles, Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Cal Roberson relationship experts and counselors who paired each couple based on their matchmaking process—will be on hand to help guide each couple through the challenges and struggles of marriage.

Newlyweds participating in the Season 11 experiment include Amelia and Bennet, Amani and Woody, Olivia and Brett, Christina and Henry and Karen and Miles. The new season is scheduled to premiere on Lifetime on July 15.

Although all of the new cast members are seemingly ready for love and marriage, if MAFS of seasons past is any indication, fans already know not everyone on Season 11 will likely experience marital bliss. The series' relationship experts have a specific formula and reasonings behind each pairing, but sometimes they don't quite hit the mark. Of the 34 couples who have been featured on MAFS since the show debuted in the U.S. in 2014, only nine of them decided to remain married when decision day rolled around.

In Season 10, the only couple who opted not to get divorced was Jessica and Austin. Despite their many quarrels over Austin's initial refusal to express his love to Jessica, when they appeared together during Season 10 decision day, he finally said the three words she had long been waiting to hear: "I love you." Then at the Season 10 reunion, Austin nearly brought the cast to tears when he surprised Jessica with a "commitment ring" to show that he was indeed in their marriage for the long haul.

The duo was among the eight other couples with a MAFS success story to appear on the Lifetime reality show spin-off, Married at First Sight: Couples' Cam, which is currently airing and documenting the spouses' lives as they deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

Along with MAFS Season 11, Couples' Cam is also slated to air more episodes later in the summer. When it debuted in May, the show was scheduled for only six episodes, however, Lifetime has since ordered more episodes set to air on Thursday nights in July.
