The celebrity identities behind Mermaid and Maize were revealed on Wednesday's episode of The Masked Singer.
The Andrew Lloyd Webber-themed episode was originally due to air on October 12 but was pushed back a week after unforeseen rainy weather delayed a Major League Baseball playoff game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies.
The fourth episode of The Masked Singer Season 8 finally aired on October 19 and opened with celebrity panelist Nicole Scherzinger singing "Memory," from Webber's musical Cats.
Judge Ken Jeong then took to the stage to perform for Webber, who was on the panel as a special guest, with a rendition of "Phantom of the Opera," from the musical of the same name.

After those performances it was time for the masked celebrities to battle it out on the stage as the judges tried to guess who the famous faces could be.
Newsweek has everything you need to know about what happened on Season 8 Episode 4 of The Masked Singer.
Who is Maize On The Masked Singer?
Maize, who fans originally thought could be Paula Deen or The Office star Melora Hardin, was revealed to be Sex and the City actor Mario Cantone.
Judge Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg guessed the star correctly, while Robin Thicke thought it might be Nathan Lane.

Who is Mermaid On The Masked Singer?
Ahead of the episode many The Masked Singer fans speculated whether the Mermaid costume was a hint at new The Little Mermaid leading lady Halle Bailey, or even her older sister Chloe.
One of the Mermaid's clues was a seashell, which some fans thought could be a nod to Sister, Sister actress Tia Mowry—whose twin sister Tamera appeared on The Masked Singer as Seashell in Season 5.
During the episode, however, Mermaid was revealed to be a completely different celebrity; Gloria Gaynor.

Gaynor was unmasked after facing off with Robo Girl. Both sang "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" from Evita and Robo Girl won the battle, therefore moving on to the next episode unmasked.
Newsweek has contacted representatives for both Cantone and Gaynor for comment.
This season on The Masked Singer the new format sees the celebrities divided into groups and competing within their cohort to be crowned King or Queen and make it through to the next week unmasked.
After three rounds, three finalists will then compete in the semi-finals. Currently the Harp, who fans think is Amber Riley, is the first to make it to the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, fans were disappointed when The Masked Singer was slightly delayed on Wednesday evening, once again due to the baseball.
The episode did eventually air but was pushed back from its usual time slot, leaving fans frustrated.
Posting on Twitter about the hold up, one fan wrote: "@FOXTV it would have been nice for the past 2 Wednesdays to be able to watch @MaskedSingerFOX instead of flipping Baseball. Put it on 24 not 27! I wanna watch #TheMaskedSinger not that!"

"Fans of the #TheMaskedSinger angry over baseball postponing episodes. I've said it on here many times, all these sports channels they have now, people even paying extra to have them, they can't put these baseball games on there?" said another.
