Mega Millions Numbers For 12/24/19: Tuesday Jackpot was $45 Million

The Mega Millions jackpot for 12/24/19 is $45 million, and the drawing will be held at 11 p.m. ET tonight.

Tonight's 12/24/19 jackpot was $45 million, with a cash-value option of $30 million. The total jackpot could have increased depending on the number of tickets sold around the country prior to the drawing.

The winning numbers last Friday (12/20/19) for the $40 million jackpot were: 03-20-23-35-60 with a Mega Ball of 16. The Megaplier was 3x.

There was no grand prize winner from Friday's drawing, but there was a ticket sold in New York sold that matched the first five white balls, but just missed on the Mega Ball, for the game's second prize of $1 million. That ticket would have been worth $2 million had they purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1.

There were eight tickets Friday that matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball for the $10,000 third prize. One of those purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1 for third-prize winnings of $30,000.

The last Mega Millions grand prize winner was Tuesday 12/17/19 for $372 million with a ticket sold in Ohio. Prior to that, a $227 million ticket was sold on 09/24/19 in the city of Cedar Park, Texas—a suburb north of Austin. The winner from nearby Leander came forward to claim that prize, but they wished to remain anonymous.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery every Tuesday and Friday night, and it is one of America's two biggest lottery jackpot games. Mega Millions jackpots start at $40 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier.
