The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 6, 17, 46, 59 and 68 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 2 and the Megaplier was 4x.

Tuesday night's 09/06/2022 Mega Millions jackpot was worth $191 million, with a cash-value option worth $103.7 million.

The winning numbers last Friday (09/02/22) for the 93.2 million jackpot were: 39-40-52-60-67 with a Mega Ball of 20. The Megaplier was 2x. There was no grand prize winner on Friday, so the jackpot for Tuesday 09/06/22 has increased to $191 million, nor were there any tickets sold that matched 5 white balls and the Mega Ball for the game's second prize of $1 million. There were 11 winners who matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $10,000. One of those ticket holders each won the Megaplier prize of $20,000. A group of 255 people picked the numbers on four white balls, for which each won $500, with 50 of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $1,000. The game also saw 574 winners who matched three white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $200, with 155 of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $400.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery, and it is one of America's two biggest lottery jackpot games. Mega Millions jackpots start at $20 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier.

Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.

Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.
