Megan Thee Stallion has slammed fellow rapper Drake after he seemingly accused her of lying about being shot.
Megan, real name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, accused Tory Lanez of shooting her in 2020 after attending a pool party in Hollywood Hills, California.
The incident happened at the peak of the Black Lives Matter protests and sparked discussion about the incredulity Black women face when calling out abusers.
A number of celebrities came out in support of Megan, including Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan who tweeted at the time, "Meg I admire your courage and applaud you for speaking up, we must Support Black Women, Protect Black Women, and Believe Black Women. @theestallion."

But it seems Megan is still facing criticism for speaking out about the shooting incident, this time from Canadian rapper Drake.
He has released a new album with 21 Savage called Her Loss and fans quickly picked up on one lyric on the track "Circo Loco."
Drake rapped: "This b*** lie about getting shot but she still a stallion."
Megan wasted no time in retaliating and accused Drake of using her shooting for clout.
"Stop using my shooting for clout b**** ass N*****! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot ! You n***** especially RAP N***** ARE LAME! Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y'all homeboys abused her," she tweeted.
In another tweet she added: "And when the mf facts come out remember all y'all h** a** favorite rappers that stood behind a N**** that SHOT A FEMALE."
She wrapped her Twitter rant up by saying: "People attack me y'all go up for it, i defend myself now I'm doing too much…every time it never ends and this did NOT happen until I came out and said I got shot…y'all don't fwm okay cool f***it bye."
"What nobody knows is, I had to get the surgery the same night. I stayed in the hospital in California for maybe four days," Megan said when she opened up about the incident in an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings in April.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is facing trial over the shooting incident which saw Megan rushed to hospital and have surgery to remove bullet fragments from her feet.
Lanez was originally charged with carrying a loaded and unregistered concealed weapon in 2020. He has since also been charged with one felony count assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Lanez pleaded not guilty and his criminal trial was set to start in September but was pushed back to later in 2022.
Megan claimed he shot her after an argument broke out between them and her former friend Kelsey Harris.
They were leaving a pool party at Kylie Jenner's home in Hollywood Hills in July 2020 when the incident occurred.
Megan admitted in the Gayle King interview that she originally lied about what happened at the scene, telling police her injuries were caused by glass she had stepped on.
She claimed to have lied out of fear for her friends and their safety as they were being detained by the police, because the Black Lives Matter protests were receiving global attention at the time after the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police officers.
Megan later went public with her truth and told Rolling Stone in June, "I want him to go to jail. I want him to go under the jail."
Newsweek has reached out to Megan Thee Stallion and a representative for Drake for comment.
