Meghan McCain is not backing down in her feud with Kari Lake, jokingly planning to get her viral takedown of "no peace, b****" printed on T-shirts.
The daughter of the late Republican Senator John McCain, Meghan McCain rejected the former news anchor's offer to meet for lunch on Wednesday, with her savage retort taking over social media.
Lake, who is running for the Senate, was interviewed by Arizona radio station KTAR on Monday. The Republican politician claimed that her past digs at John McCain were meant as a joke, with her comments alienating potential voters during the 2022 gubernatorial election.

The 54-year-old was endorsed by Donald Trump during her run for Arizona governor, with the former president also a vocal critic of John McCain.
Lake claimed she was facing a "nuclear bomb-style incoming" of attack ads from a "McCain Republican" at the time of the remarks.
"It was said in jest," she told KTAR. "And I think that if John McCain, who had a great sense of humor, would have heard it, he would have laughed."
However, Meghan McCain was unamused by the interview, accusing Lake of "trying to walk back her continued attacks" on her father.
She referenced comments Lake made at a 2022 rally, in which the GOP candidate said: "We don't have any McCain Republicans in here, do we? Get the hell out!"
"Kari Lake is trying to walk back her continued attacks on my Dad (& family) and all of his loyal supporters after telling them to 'get the hell out,'" McCain wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"Guess she realized she can't become a senator without us. No peace, b****. We see you for who you are—and are repulsed by it."
Lake attempted to resolve the issue with McCain, responding to the talk show host's social media smackdown.
"Hi Meghan, As mothers, (both with two kiddos) [I] know we both agree that our children's future is too important to let it slip away over past grudges or hurt feelings," Lake wrote.
"That's why I'm working hard to unite Republicans, Independents, Democrats—ALL Americans."
In an attempt to find common ground, Lake added: "My dad passed away from cancer, too. I trust and believe that if our fathers were still with us they would do everything they could to save this Republic."
She offered to buy McCain a "beer, a coffee or lunch," but the 39-year-old wasn't interested, replying with: "NO PEACE, B****!"
Newsweek reached out to Meghan McCain via Instagram direct message and Lake via online form for comment.
Following the viral exchange, a follower suggested that "No Peace B**** should be the band name for @MeghanMcCain."
McCain appeared to love the idea, writing: "I have no musical talent to speak of but I'm now considering 'no peace, b****' T-shirts..."
It's currently a close call between Lake and her Democratic rival, Representative Ruben Gallego, with recent polls showing a one or two-point lead for Lake in the state, according to polling analysis website FiveThirtyEight.
After Lake was beaten in the gubernatorial race by Katie Hobbs in 2022, Meghan McCain celebrated Lake's loss. She shared a National Review article detailing the results to X, along with the caption: "Beautiful morning to all of you."
When Lake was booed at a GOP meeting in January, McCain once again took to social media to gloat, dubbing the incident "hilarious."
