Everyone dreams of their perfect house, whether that be a country cottage or a swanky downtown high-rise.
One couple thought they hit the jackpot when they moved in the latter in the central business district of Melbourne, Australia, before a terrifying discovery made them realize they had made a terrible mistake.
One evening while Josh Jessup, 26, and Matt Moss, 28, were relaxing in their apartment, a storm hit.

"A strong wind storm hit our apartment on the 60th floor in Eureka Tower in Melbourne CBD completely out of the blue," Moss told Newsweek, "This wind storm lasted for about an hour and throughout this time our entire building was rocking back and forth causing loud creaking and groaning throughout. The windows were flexing and warping from the strong winds and even though they are designed to do that it was quite terrifying."
In the video posted to their Instagram account, the floor-to-ceiling windows in the apartment can be seen shaking and ceiling hangings moving, while a loud rattling and banging noise can be heard. At one point a voice can be heard saying, "Are we safe up here?" as the wind whips around the building.
While they explain that "the building is supposed to do this in storms," the situation is certainly not ideal.

The West Melbourne emergency preparedness website suggests evacuating high-rise buildings in the event of a hurricane, as "winds are stronger at higher elevations."
Despite the incredible views, the wind storm was the "final nail in the coffin" for the couple, who had no idea the weather would be so disruptive, and they decided to pack up and move to lower ground in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
"We have a lot more space to decorate now and a backyard where we can do our gardening, and now that we are on the ground there's no crazy wind storms to worry about!," said Jessup, "The city views were stunning but honestly we've fallen in love with our garden views now and watching all the birds and wildlife has been a gorgeous change."
For anyone currently looking for their dream home, the couple offers this piece of advice.

"Make sure you understand the sun path of the property you're looking at. It's important you're aware what rooms are going to be receiving light throughout the day because natural light is a very valuable asset in the home," they say, "If it is an apartment make sure it's well maintained and managed and check out all shared amenities first before signing any documents."
"This fear is outside of my tax bracket," commented one user on Instagram, "Aside from the absolutely terrifying sound of the wind, the apartment decor was a 10/10 and I'm obsessed," wrote another.
