Actor Mickey Rourke is hesitant to say anything else publicly about Donald Trump because he doesn't want another "visit from the Secret Service."
He made the revelation during an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored in a wide-ranging discussion where he talked about his opinions on Amber Heard, Tom Cruise and the war in Ukraine.
Rourke has long been an opponent of President Trump and even went so far as to threaten him in 2016 by saying he'd like to give him a "Louisville slugger." He did so again in October 2019 saying he'd hit Trump with a "left hook from hell." Seemingly, comments like this earned Rourke a visit from the United States Secret Service earlier this year.

"They call it the United States of America but it's now the Divided States of America and there's one big reason for that but I'm not going to go into it because I don't need another visit from the Secret Service," Rourke told host Piers Morgan on his show which aired on Fox Nation on Tuesday. He was explaining why he had posted a picture on Twitter of the Statue of Liberty crying.
The answers from Rourke to Morgan's questioning became much shorter from that point.
Morgan: "When did you have one before?"
Rourke: "Oh about six months ago."
Morgan: "Why?"
Rourke: "Take a wild guess."
Morgan: "Was it something you said about President Trump?"
Rourke: "Yeah."
Morgan: "What did you say about him?"
Rourke: "Just the truth."
Morgan: "Which is what?"
Rourke: "Read my mind."
Morgan: "And the secret service actually came to see you?"
Rourke: "Oh yeah."
Morgan: "And what did they say?"
Rourke: "A lot. And that s***'s way over my head so I got nothin' to say anymore about nothin'."
From there, Rourke suggested that the Secret Service are "still trying to figure out what happened to [John F. Kennedy's] brain."
When pressed about the state of America, Rourke told Morgan that he's never felt comfortable in his home country, and he always enjoys the UK, France, Italy and Russia.

Reacting to Morgan's interview with Rourke and the quotes on the Secret Service, some viewers commented that he should have expected the house visit for threatening a sitting president.
"That is standard practice and after I heard him whining on your show I changed the channel," wrote @Kilgore14Lee in response to Morgan's tweet. @Thevin77 also agreed, "It's not extraordinary it's standard procedures. You make threats, Secret Service investigates."
In another point within the interview, Rourke called Tom Cruise "irrelevant" and criticized him for playing the same part for "for 35 years" in reference to his recent success with Top Gun: Maverick.
