Midnight Mass is Mike Flanagan's latest horror series to hit Netflix, and it is set on the isolated Crockett Island.
The show follows the island's residents as they start to face mysterious events that take place in the quiet location following the arrival of new priest, Father Paul (Hamish Linklater).
Almost the entirety of the drama takes place on the island, with the characters only visiting "the mainland" for medical emergencies and AA meetings.
Flanagan's previous show The Haunting of Hill House was filmed in a real location that had a different name, while The Haunting of Bly Manor is inspired by a real mansion but was filmed mostly in Bridge Studios in Vancouver.
Here is everything you need to know about the filming locations for Midnight Mass.
Is Crockett Island a Real Place?
Technically speaking, Crockett Island is a real location but not as fans know it in Flanagan's religious horror series.
Unlike The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass was filmed mostly on location in Canada, in Vancouver and Richmond, British Columbia.
Garry Point Park stood in for the island, with the fictional town built at the location in 2019. Production was halted in March 2020 before filming could even begin because of the COVID pandemic.
The set remained in place until the cast was able to return to filming in August of the same year.

Discussing the delay, Flanagan said on Twitter after filming wrapped: "We left our sets standing, dropped everything and frantically got our cast and crew to their homes as the lockdown began.
"Kate [Siegel] and I were the last Americans from the show to leave Vancouver, and from the airplane window I could see our sets standing at Garry Point Park.
"They'd remain standing for months, at the mercy of the elements, and we had no idea when or if we'd be able to return."
Luckily, they were able to return five months later and film the limited series from start to finish.
Can You Visit the Set of 'Midnight Mass'?
Unfortunately for fans, the buildings used for Midnight Mass, including the church where Father Paul performs his "miracles," were built specifically for the shoot.
This means that once filming ended the buildings were disassembled and they are now no longer in Garry Point Park.
Fans of the show can still visit the location even if the buildings are no longer there and they can enjoy a number of sites.
As well as stunning views, there are also sites like the Fisherman's Memorial Needle and a Kuno Garden, a Japanese-style memorial garden, to see.
Midnight Massis available to watch on Netflix in full now.
