Feeling carsick on a long journey is the absolute worst, second only to your children feeling nauseous and puking on the back seat.
Thankfully, one mom on TikTok has shared her advice for feeling good when on a car trip, for both children and adults.
Social media star Momlikeaboss_, who has 691,900 followers on the app, shared her top tips for stopping motion sickness on May 10.
Speaking into the camera while sat in her car, she explained: "If you're an adult that gets carsick these will totally help. A seasick band puts pressure on an acupressure point here and that will help to relieve nausea. "
The bands are to be worn around the wrist, and have a bump on them that presses into the pulse to quash that sicky feeling.
Her second tip, in the footage seen by 68,100 people, was slightly more unusual.
She instructed viewers: "Smell your hand sanitizer or alcohol wipe that comes in your first aid kit that have in your car."
As for coping with unwell children, Momlikeaboss_ also shared methods for stopping kids feeling sick on April 12.
Captioning her video, which has since been viewed 3.2 million times, she wrote: "Hopefully I get to you before your first road trip #momhacks #toddlerhacks #roadtriphacks #travelhacks #traveltips #travelwithkids."
Again sat in the car, she explained that one of the root causes of car sickness is overheating.
As a solution she recommended getting "a stroller fan like this or a dollar store handheld one."
After showcasing the mini fan the woman then pulled out another item, exclaiming: "This is going to be your best friend, these are by Frida Baby and they are literally baby ice packs.
@momlikeaboss_ Hopefully I git to you before your first todas trip ? #momhacks #toddlerhacks #roadtriphacks #travelhacks #traveltips #travelwithkids

"You can cut them down to size but these will stick to their forehead and they will actually cool them down. You don't need to refrigerate them or anything like that.
"You can just keep them in the car, and if you feel like they're overheating or as a pre-emptive thing you put this on their forehead and it will totally help.
The informative videos have garnered many comments from grateful moms and those that suffer from car sickness.
One TikTok user, Alina, wrote: "Yes thanks for the tips I'm starting to get a little carsick lol."
