A TikTok video of a baby moving along in their bouncy seat to their dad playing a song by The White Stripes has gone viral with over 5 million views in three days. The baby moved to the beat of the song, garnering a lot of attention from viewers.
TikToker @leahmaret shared the post of her child in a bouncy seat moving up and down in the seat, which produced a noise, as the baby's father started to play Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes on guitar. The baby's bounces corresponded perfectly with the beat of the song in the 17-second clip.
"Not our baby keeping perfect time with #TheWhiteStripes," the post is captioned. "Somebody get this kid a drum set!"
Over 1 million people have liked the post of the baby bouncing up and down to the beat. The baby's mom even did a follow-up video with her own lyrics along to the sound from the first video played side by side.
The CDC reported there were 3,613,647 births in the United States in 2020. According to the United States Census Bureau, the number of births in the United States has declined during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and because of it. There was a decrease in the number of babies born in winter 2020 through 2021 with evidence of an uptick possible by March.
Despite the evidence, other factors are at play, including seasonal patterns of births, similarities in other countries, and the number of births in the country has been on the decline since 2008 (with the exception being 2014).

Some people had jokes when it came to the video. "I'm gonna fight this nap," one user joked. "My mommy and my daddy couldn't hold me ...... zzzzzzzzzzzzz."
Another thought "this baby is going places," playfully adding, "mostly up and down, but that counts."
One TikTok user wanted the parents to replace toys with musical instruments. "Hear me out. Replace the toys with cymbals and a tambourine...Rig a pedal for a bass," they said.
While another TikToker thought the whole thing is really "rehearsed," adding, "There's no other explanation except hundreds of jam sessions and stereotypical bandmate fights." The creator replied back to that saying, "I swear to God I was doing the dishes and noticed he was in time with his dad."
While a user said the video is "legit the cutest thing ever."
Another viewer called the baby "musically talented," saying the parents have "a musician on your hands."
Other people seemed to appreciate the video as well with comments like, "rock on little one," and "this is so wholesome."
