Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts for five days as it extends National Doughnut Day to National Doughnut Week. The national day, which takes place on the first Friday of June, has been extended to mark how under lockdown and stay-at-home orders, days are blurring into "one long Blursday."
Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release: "National Doughnut Day is one of our favorite holidays to celebrate, but with days starting to blur together, we want to make sure it's easier than ever for fans to participate.
"That's why, this year, we're extending our beloved free doughnut tradition from one day to five days with the very first National Doughnut Week."
Krispy Kreme customers can enjoy any kind of donut for free, including the original glazed doughnut, chocolate iced with sprinkles doughnut, and Krispy Kreme's original filled doughnut varieties, from today until Friday, which is National Doughnut Day.
To claim a free doughnut, head to a participating U.S. Krispy Kreme shop or drive-thru from June 1 through June 5, with no purchase necessary. The offer is limited one free doughnut per person per day and the free donut deal is not available with delivery.
