The world's wealthiest man, Elon Musk, has welcomed another child, according to Shivon Zilis, the Neuralink executive with whom he already shares three children. The newest addition may be the billionaire's 14th.
Why It Matters
Musk, the CEO of X, formerly Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX, has drawn increased public attention since becoming a close adviser to President Donald Trump.
He leads the White House task force, Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has recently advised and facilitated mass layoffs and terminations across federal agencies and departments.
Recently, conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair has claimed that she shares a child with Musk and is in the process of a custody lawsuit.
What To Know
Musk, 53, has children with at least three women, while a fourth, St. Clair, is seeking to confirm paternity.
He had six with his first wife, Justine Wilson, three with ex-girlfriend Grimes, one allegedly with St. Clair, and, until Zilis' social media post on Friday, was believed to have three with her. Musk's first child with Wilson died just weeks after its birth in sudden infant death syndrome-related incident (SIDs).
Zilis, a 39-year-old executive at Musk's Neuralink, announced the duo have another child, their fourth, together in a post on X. Musk and Zilis share twins Azure and Stride, and another child, Arcadia.
"Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia's birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus," she wrote on X.
Musk responded to her post with a red heart. It is not publicly known when the child was born.

The billionaire has previously acknowledged his growing family, writing in an X post in July 2022: "Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far."
In February, the DOGE leader brought his 4-year-old son X Æ A-Xii to the Oval Office, answering questions from reporters while holding his son on his shoulders.
Following X Æ A-Xii's appearance, Grimes, his mother, pleaded for Musk to keep her son out of the spotlight. She wrote in an X reply: "He [X Æ A-Xii] should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
In late-February, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, publicly pleaded for Musk to acknowledge an ongoing medical crisis related to one of their children.
In posts on X that have now been deleted, Grimes wrote: "Plz respond about our child's medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention. If you don't want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon."
Grimes, meanwhile, has sued Musk over custody and parental rights.
What Happens Next?
St. Clair is in the process of suing Musk for both paternity and sole custody of their alleged son, who is reportedly six-months old.
The case has been assigned to New York Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Pearlman. Musk has not retained an attorney, according to court documents reviewed by Newsweek on Saturday.
Musk and St. Clair are scheduled to appear in court at 11 a.m. on May 29. If the court finds that Musk is the child's father, St. Clair can then compel him to pay child support.
