Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released the first portrait of daughter Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor after celebrating her birthday during the Platinum Jubilee.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held a gathering for their one-year-old daughter at Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor, their U.K. home.

Photographer Misan Harriman, who is also a friend of the couple, posted photographs of Lilibet on social media.

He wrote on Twitter: "It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around."

Zara and Mike Tindall were among guests at the party and brought their children, Mia, Lena and Lucas, Vogue reported.

Harriman, who describes himself as "one of the most widely-shared photographers of the Black Lives Matter movement," took the pictures of Meghan pregnant that were used to announce the couple were expecting a daughter.

At the time, he tweeted: "Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honored to capture it grow. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!"

The party came after Harry and Meghan traveled to Britain for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

The couple were cheered as they arrived at St Paul's Cathedral, in London, for a Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen's Reign.

They also made a brief appearance at Trooping the Colour, the queen's birthday parade, which they watched from the Major General's Office.

However, it was a quiet visit for the couple and their children did not appear publicly during the celebrations.

Prince Louis, Lili's cousin, captured hearts during the four-day royal spectacular as he made funny faces during Trooping and was seen putting a hand over his mother's mouth during the Jubilee pageant, on June 5.

Lilibet is named in tribute to the monarch's family nickname, which dates back to the 96-year-old's own childhood.

Elizabeth was known to mispronounce her own name and it stuck for many years, though the moniker is not used publicly.

Lili was born weighing 7lbs 11oz at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, on June 4, 2021.

Meghan and Harry said in a statement at the time: "On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.

"She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we've felt from across the globe.

"Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family."
