New World just launched its first expansion, Brimstone Sands, bringing players to a new location and even introducing new quests for them to take part in. While the new DLC might be a fresh start for some, Amazon Games actually plans to offer up Fresh Start Worlds later this year to give players a truly fresh beginning.
These new worlds won't allow players to transfer their characters over, which means that all gold, items, and leveling will occur within those new worlds. For many, being able to jump on a Fresh Start World is going to be like a dream come true, as many fans within the community have been begging for newly made servers since a few months after the game's release. If you're one of those players, you won't have much longer to wait.
Amazon Games will launch Fresh Start Worlds for New World on November 2. These Fresh Start Worlds will require players to start completely anew with fresh characters, gear, and other goodies. On top of offering a new world for players to jump into, it will also introduce a revamped set of starting quests, which will give players new and returning a completely different experience from the past starting questline offered in New World.

You'll still need to worry about farming for Rawhide and collecting Saltpeter if you plan to craft your own gear and ammunition, but the starting quests will see some drastic changes. Many players are already checking out these changes in the game's Public Test Realm, which offers a beta of sorts for players to try out big updates and patches.
Many players have been begging for Fresh Start Worlds after New World's launch saw an uptick in servers falling under the rule of big streamer groups. This caused a lot of controversy within the community, as big streamers playing the game would create massive companies and take over entire servers.
While many servers eventually recovered, some didn't, and thus players have hoped to see Fresh Start Worlds quite a bit. So, with the launch of these new worlds on November 2, 2022, many players will hopefully be able to jump in and experience the new starting questline and everything that a fresh start in New World offers.
Amazon Game Studios has yet to say exactly how many new worlds it will offer when the Fresh Start Worlds launch, but hopefully it will be enough to keep the community satiated until the next content drop. Otherwise, players may end up jumping back to World of Warcraft or other MMOs entirely.
