The Democrats' coup of Joe Biden for Kamala Harris is officially complete, and the media would have you believe it never even happened. After pretending to be real journalists for a month and holding the Biden regime accountable, the left-wing corporate media has quickly returned to its preferred form—that of a regime apologist. Apparently, we are reliably informed, Kamala Harris is actually the greatest thing since sliced bread. Hold aside her horrific approval and favorability ratings, her catastrophic 2020 presidential run, her abominable tenure as vice president, and the myriad crazy far-left policy positions she has taken over the course of her career. In essence: "Don't believe your own lying eyes and ears, you racist sexist bigot transphobe!" But this elaborate gaslighting operation from the Democrat-media complex is simply not going to work. The American people are far too smart for that.

In other major news, on Monday Joe Biden and Kamala Harris both came out in favor of various "reforms" to the U.S. Supreme Court—including new term limits for the justices and an enforceable "ethics" code, by which Democrats seem to mean some sort of new mandatory exogenous check on when justices must recuse from a given "case" or "controversy" before their court. There are numerous problems here. First, neither of these "half-packing" schemes can be accomplished via simple congressional statute; both would require a constitutional amendment. Second, these "reforms" would obviously upend our well-calibrated constitutional order, effectively subjugating the judiciary to not merely "least dangerous" branch status (per Alexander Hamilton in The Federalist No. 78), but to outright "belittled and inferior" branch status. This is, in short, a Joe Biden-Kamala Harris declaration of war on the U.S. Supreme Court.
