One of the most anticipated dates on the NFL's calendar has arrived.

All 32 teams around the league had until 4 p.m. ET Tuesday to complete any trades before the deadline. After that, franchises will have to rely on free agency or the waiver wire to make additions to their rosters for the rest of the season.

The New York Giants traded Pro Bowl defensive lineman Leonard Williams to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday in exchange for two draft picks in one of the most noteworthy transactions this season. More big names were on the move on Halloween.

Thirteen players were moved at last year's NFL trade deadline as part of 11 total deals, according to the NFL, more than twice as many as any other year since 2010. Last year marked the sixth straight season in which at least seven players were dealt the week of the deadline, the league said. Pro Bowlers Bradley Chubb and T.J. Hockenson were among the notable players dealt leading up to last year's deadline.

Who is on the move this time around?

Bills Add DB Douglas from Packers

The Green Bay Packers traded defensive back Rasul Douglas and a 2024 fifth-round pick to the Buffalo Bills for a 2024 third-rounder.

Douglas, in his seventh NFL season, has one interception and six passes defended in seven games this season.

Browns Trade WR Peoples-Jones to Lions

The Cleveland Browns traded wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick.

Peoples-Jones has caught eight passes for 97 yards this season and now joins the NFC North-leading Lions.

Commanders Send Chase Young to 49ers

The Washington Commanders were busy on Tuesday.

After sending defensive lineman Montez Sweat to the Chicago Bears earlier on Halloween, Washington traded edge-rusher Chase Young to the San Francisco 49ers for a third-round compensatory draft pick.

The former No. 2 overall pick is in the last year of his rookie contract. Young has five sacks in seven games this season. Washington already has more than $150 million committed to defensive tackles Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne over the next four years, leading the team to trade two impending free agents ahead of the deadline.

Young joins a 49ers defense that ranks fifth in the NFL in points allowed and already features Nick Bosa, Javon Hargrave and Arik Armstead up front.

Jaguars Trade for Vikings Guard Ezra Cleveland

The Minnesota Vikings traded guard Ezra Cleveland to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round draft pick.

The Jaguars (6-2) have the 10th-ranked scoring offense so far this season and add a 25-year-old player whom NFL Network's Ian Rapoport described as one of the best young players at his position. Jaguars coach Doug Pederson offered his live reaction to the deal while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show.

Vikings Add QB Joshua Dobbs From Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals traded quarterback Joshua Dobbs to the Minnesota Vikings. The Cardinals will receive a 2024 sixth-round pick in the deal and send a 2024 seventh-round pick to Minnesota.

The Vikings (4-4) have won three games in a row but are suddenly in need of help at QB in light of Kirk Cousins' season-ending Achilles injury. Dobbs has started under center for the Cardinals since Week 1 after being acquired in a trade with the Cleveland Browns ahead of the regular season. The 28-year-old has thrown for 1,569 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 62.8 percent of his passes in eight games this season.

Arizona coach Jonathan Gannon had already announced that Dobbs would not start next week, leading to speculation that he would be traded.

Bears Trade for Washington DL Montez Sweat

The Washington Commanders traded defensive lineman Montez Sweat to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2024 second-round pick.

Sweat, a former first-round pick out of Mississippi State, is in the last year of his contract and Washington apparently opted to collect draft compensation rather than sign another defensive lineman long term. The 27-year-old has 35.5 sacks (6.5 this season) and 47 tackles for loss across five NFL seasons.
