No game on the NFL's Week 7 slate was as widely anticipated as the Sunday Night Football showdown between the Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles. And the battle between 5-1 teams managed to live up to the hype, at least for Philadelphia fans.
The Eagles managed to mostly contain the top-ranked Dolphins offense in a 31-17 win. Philadelphia held Miami to season-lows in points, yards, first downs, and practically everything else in its primetime victory.
And just about everything else went right for Philly.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 279 yards and accounted for three total touchdowns while outdueling Tua Tagovailoa, Miami's QB and his former college teammate at Alabama.
Hurts went four-for-four on the "Brotherly Shove" play. The Eagles were not called for a penalty, while the Dolphins committed 10 and looked sloppy all-around—including on a Tagovailoa Red Zone interception and dropped passes by Tyreek Hill.
Oh, and the Eagles managed all this while wearing maybe the best uniforms in the NFL. The Eagles are undoubtedly among the league's winners this week after improving to 6-1.
Here's a look at some of the other winners and losers from around the league Sunday.
NFL Winners From Week 7
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense: Turns out, good things happen when Baltimore Ravens quarterback Jackson has a healthy offensive line in front of him and plenty of options at wide receiver. Who knew? The former MVP threw for 357 yards and scored four total touchdowns in a 38-6 thrashing of the Lions.
As for Detroit, maybe it's safe to say the Lions are still a work in progress.
The Mahomes-Kelce connection: The Kansas City Chiefs became the first defending Super Bowl champions to rattle off six straight wins after losing their season opener with a 31-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 424 yards and four touchdowns to improve to 29-3 against the AFC West. And, to no surprise, the two-time MVP's favorite target was tight end Travis Kelce.
The eight-time Pro Bowler caught 12 passes for 179 yards and a TD in the win.
"I think both Kelce and Pat, when they're on the same page, that's a challenge for any defense," Chiefs coach Andy Reid said after the game.
That's especially true when Taylor Swift watches from a luxury box. Kelce is averaging 108 yards per game this season when Swift is in attendance and only 46.5 when she is not.
Facts are facts: In the four games Taylor Swift has been in attendance, Travis Kelce is averaging 108 receiving yards per game.

Myles Garrett's DPOY chances: Not many defensive players can take over a game the way Cleveland Browns pass-rusher Garrett did in a 39-38 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The four-time Pro Bowler recorded two sacks, forced two fumbles (one of which was returned for a touchdown), recorded nine overall tackles, and blocked a kick on Sunday.
The 27-year-old is the only player in the last 30 seasons to record multiple sacks, force multiple fumbles, and block a kick in the same game, per the NFL. Not a bad bullet point on his Defensive Player of the Year resume. And perhaps one of many more to come.
"Who says the next one can't be even better?" Garrett said postgame? "It really was just another day at the office."
NFL Losers From Week 7
Bills already at three losses: The Buffalo Bills lost three games all of last season on their way to the AFC East title and a playoff berth. But the Bills are now 4-3 through seven weeks of the 2023 season after another loss Sunday. The Bills fell to the previously 1-5 New England Patriots, 29-25, after allowing a Mac Jones TD pass in the final seconds. The Patriots had scored 20 points combined in their previous three games.
So, what's wrong in Buffalo right now? The Bills would love to know.
"I wish I knew the exact answer, because we'd have it fixed by now," Bills quarterback Josh Allen said postgame. "Our season's not over. It's a long season. It feels pretty bleak right now. But we're going to figure it out."
Jordan Love as Green Bay's starter: Green Bay Packers fans had to know there would be growing pains during Love's first season as the starting quarterback after Aaron Rodgers' departure. But things might be going worse than expected. The Packers fell to 2-4 after a 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos. Love was picked off on Green Bay's final possession of the game.
Through seven weeks, Love ranks 28th in the league in passer rating (79.4), is tied for second in interceptions (seven), and is 22nd in passing yards (1,263).
Brett Maher's job status: The Dallas Cowboys are all too familiar with Maher missing kicks. Now the Los Angeles Rams are, too. The kicker lost his starting job with the Cowboys after a string of misses toward the end of last season. Maher got a fresh start in Los Angeles this season, but his tenure with the Rams could already be in jeopardy.
Maher missed two field goals and an extra point in a 24-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Given Maher's misses cost the Rams seven points in a seven-point loss, head coach Sean McVay had to address Maher's job status after the game.
"We'll look at it, and we'll see," McVay said. "He's got to be better. That's seven points that were missed out on, that were key and critical for the momentum of the game and the type of game that it was. Those were tough ones, today."
Both of Maher's misses were from over 50 yards out. The 33-year-old is now 17-of-23 on field goals this season and 12-of-13 on extra points.
