The moment an owner interrupts a "secret meeting" hosted by a litter of puppies has resurfaced online and left the internet in stitches.
The viral clip, originally from 2020, was reposted to TikTok on October 5 by @betch. So far, it has amassed 569,200 views, which is much less than the first time it was shared by the owner.
Sebastian Martinez initially shared the video, which illustrates six pug puppies who seem to have escaped from their crate, sitting in a formation as they stare at Martinez.
Martinez told Newsweek: "I had my dog Bonnie for about three years around that time, and I had always wanted a boy pug to name Clyde. I just wanted two dogs, but unfortunately, Clyde wasn't castrated yet, and in early 2020, all vet offices around me stopped offering snipping for a time."

He was unable to take the dog to the vet as it was during the start of the coronavirus pandemic and vets were only seeing pets for emergencies.
"We did our best to keep the two separate until his appointment in December 2021, but he was a little escape artist, and we ended up with a litter of puppies. Although it was an unexpected surprise, it was fun to take care of them during the pandemic; it gave me something to do and something to look forward to," he added.
The original video uploaded to @nauticaphantasma racked up 4 million views and over 914,000 likes. The puppies have since been adopted, but the memory lives on as the clip has continued to be shared.
Dr. Anna Foreman, an Everypaw Pet Insurance's in-house vet, previously told Newsweek the reason why you should never adopt two pups from the same litter.
"When not separated from a littermate during the eight–16-week mark, a puppy can fail to socialize properly with other dogs and humans, and fail to form healthy bonds to any other beings," explained Foreman. "Instead, they form an excessively strong bond with their littermate only, leading to separation anxiety on both parts when removed from one another."
More recently, the clip racked up 119,400 likes on a page dedicated to viral videos, along with plenty of comments.
One user said: "You interrupted their secret meeting."
Another said: "They are 10000 percent plotting to take over the world."
"Now let's get in formation," said another.
During the clip, Martinez can be heard saying: "This is what I have to deal with in the middle of the night," followed by "all that staring."
One dog lover commented on the clip and said: "I would love to have this problem."
Looking after a litter of puppies is certainly not for the faint hearted and sometimes, their mother needs a break. But it isn't long until their instincts kick in and they are able to not only look after their litter but discipline them too.
