The Pentaverate is comedian Mike Myers' first (non-Shrek) major leading role since the disaster that was The Love Guru – and the Austin Powers actor is certainly making the most of his latest star vehicle.
Mike Myers has played multiple characters in the same film before, but never on this scale. For his Netflix show about a benevolent secret society, the actor plays eight different credited roles, including all but one of the five members of the titular Pentaverate.

Who Does Mike Myers Play in The Pentaverate?
Ken Scarborough
Ken Scarborough is the nearest the Netflix show has to a main character. A down-on-his luck reporter, he attends a Canadian conspiracy theory convention (a "CanConCon") in order to find a story that can get him back on top. That story is that of The Pentaverate, which sends him to New York to try and infiltrate the organisation.
Anthony Lansdowne
A conspiracy theorist that Scarborough befriends at CanConCon, and who helps him on the quest to hunt down The Pentaverate. Lansdowne is so enamoured of conspiracy theories, in fact, that he jokes that he had to join "QAnon Anon." Sadly, he was unable to infiltrate the secret organisation because, as he explains, they only allow members who are circumcised.
Much of the early episodes of the series see Scarborough and Lansdowne traveling together in a bus from Canada to America. Along for the ride with them is Scarborough's journalism mentee Reilly Clinton. She is played by Lydia West, who has the unenviable job of making it seem like the two Myers characters are in the van together by the sheer force of her reactions.
Rex Smith
A clear parody of Alex Jones-style far right internet personalities, Rex Smith is the MAGA hat-wearing host of Truth Battle, one of the internet's prime sources of right-wing conspiracies.
Lord Lordington
The oldest of The Pentaverate members, the wheelchair-bound Lordington has presided over the secret society for decades, and is its highest ranking member.
Bruce Baldwin
A former Australian media mogul (who could Myers be parodying with this character?!) who is criticized by new Pentaverate leader Dr. Hobart Clark (Keegan Michael-Key) for "spewing hate" during his time as an owner of TV station and newspaper.
Mishu Ivanov
An ex-Russian oligarch, whose heavy accent often leads to his fellow members thinking he is saying rude words (there is an extended joke about the way he says the word "count," for example). The character seems to be inspired more by Rasputin than any actual oligarchs.
Shep Gordon
A former rock 'n' roll manager, best known for being Alice Cooper's agent. Oddly, Shep Gordon is actually a real person, who Myers met when Cooper cameoed in Myers' movie Wayne's World. Myers has previously made a documentary about Gordon titled Supermensch, which features many of Gordon's famous clients and friends.
Jason Eccleston
At the start of The Pentaverate, Eccleston has just died in mysterious circumstances, leading to Clark being recruited and the Maester of Dubrovnik (Jennifer Saunders) investigating his death. Visually, he resembles the Dude from The Big Lebowski, but the character is all Myers' increasingly strange sense of humor. Among other bizarre details, he is in a throuple with two sex dolls, and we are told he likes to masturbate to Tarot cards.
