Piers Morgan has made his first appearance on British breakfast show Good Morning Britain after he quit back in March.

The broadcast journalist stormed off set never to return to the ITV show again after he said he did not believe the claims made by Meghan Markle in her sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Viewers were shocked to see Morgan appear on the show as part of a highlights reel for Good Morning Britain's National Television Award bid.

The show will compete with other popular British daytime shows, such as This Morning, for the Best Daytime Programme gong.

The reel featured a string of notable appearances from Morgan, including one heated clip of him questioning the U.K.'s Health Secretary Matt Hancock and another of him asking two elderly women what the key to a long life is, to which they answered sex.

The television personality, who is up for the TV Presenter and Factual awards, acknowledged the nomination in a tweet online, joking that he had been "deleted" from the show.

"Delighted to have been long-listed in three categories at the National TV Awards (even if I've been deleted from the last one)," he wrote. "I've got no chance of winning, obviously, but voting for me would really irritate the usual winners: So feel free..@OfficialNTAs."

Following his exit from the show, Morgan has launched multiple tirades on social media against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

On Friday, he took aim at Prince Harry, accusing him of "constantly abusing" the royal family.

The comments came after the Duke of Sussex opened up to Oprah Winfrey in his docuseries The Me You Can't See.

As part of the series, Prince Harry claimed he was met with "total silence or neglect" from his family when he asked for help regarding the negative media coverage of his relationship with Meghan.

Morgan made his remarks in response to a headline shared by British newspaper The Daily Mail, which read: "Harry says royals forcing him to go to Nepal and constant jet-setting became 'hectic to the point of exhaustion.'"

"Oh FFS," Morgan said. "Is there no end to Prince Privacy's victimhood tour?
Constantly abusing his family, knowing they can't respond, is so pathetic & cowardly. Man up, Harry - and shut up."

When blasted by a Twitter user over his "complete lack of understanding and empathy," he instead questioned the Duke of Sussex's behavior.

Morgan then claimed it was unfair the royal family are unable to respond and branded Prince Harry's actions "outrageously hypocritical."

Newsweek previously contacted the Archewell Foundation for comment but did not get a response at the time.
