Pokémon Go's Halloween event is in full swing, and players all around the world are working their way toward completing the Special Research tasks. But, if you haven't gotten started yet, then this guide will help you figure out what you need to do so you can complete all the tasks and take home all the rewards.
If you're just jumping into the Pokémon Go Halloween event, then you'll be sad to know that the first part of the event is now over. For this event, you'll need to complete the Mysterious Masks Special Research Tasks, which will reward you with several things. These main tasks are broken down into four primary parts, each of which has been outlined below.

- Make 9 curveball throws
- Make 49 nice throws

- Earn 9 hearts with your buddy
- Send 13 gifts to friends

- Catch 9 different species of ghost-type Pokémon
- Use 49 berries to help catch Pokémon

Pokémon Go will also offer several timed research tasks that you can take on throughout the event; however, they require that you pay for certain tickets to unlock them.
