FedEx Hours on New Year's Day 2022

Most FedEx services are closed on January 1, except for the FedEx Custom Critical service, according to the FedEx website.

The following FedEx services are closed on New Year's Day:

  • FedEx Home Delivery
  • FedEx Ground Economy
  • FedEx Office
  • FedEx Freight
  • FedEx Trade Networks

The FedEx website notes: "Customs clearance at U.S.-Canada land-border crossings is available 24 hours a day, every day, via FedEx Trade Networks, subject to the availability of Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

"Check with your FedEx Trade Networks representative regarding the availability of customs clearance at U.S.-Mexico land-border crossings," it adds.

Several FedEx services, including Express, Ground, Ground Economy and Freight, will also not be running on January 2.

FedEx Home Delivery will be operating a modified service on January 2, with deliveries only in "Sunday-eligible stations."

The FedEx Office service will be also available on a modified schedule on the day after New Year's.

FedEx Office locations will open by 7 a.m. local time or at their regular time. Customers are advised to contact their local FedEx Office location for more information.

UPS Hours on New Year's Day 2022

There is no UPS pick-up or delivery service on New Year's Day. However, the UPS Express Critical service is available on January 1. Customers are advised to call 1-800-714-8779 or see upsexpresscritical.com for more information, according to the UPS website.

Normal UPS pick-up and delivery services return on January 3.
